Quite a way from where I was then (I'm useless at geogoraphy, I think everyone knows everyone else and they're obviously just down the road just coz they live in the same county...:rotfl: )LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
That's a nice plan Denise I wish I could believe it could happen- funnily enough, the owners were saying that they are eventually going to sell - there are four old coastguard cottages in a terrace which they let out and there's a lot of land so I think I may need to write several successful books before I can afford the place!
So - Valli and Tom huh? I'll keep an eye out...
Still, it's a Plan, one that can be adjusted to suit and I say go for it, aim for the stars and your sure to at least hit the moon eh!... (better than not aiming at all!)
Mmmm, they need more than an eye I think, even Pigpen has warned Cardiff of the fornication ban on here and has threatened mules... :rotfl:LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
I'm just commenting... (suggest you keep an eye on justamum though, she's plotting :rotfl: )...
Hey - all's fair in love and war :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I've just had what I THINK might be a vaguely innappropriate email from a colleagueI'd be quite flattered if it wasn't for the fact that I'm pretty sure he's married!
I don't suppose you could copy and paste it could you?I also bought myself a smart coat for best its lovely bright red and fitted, also a black and silver scarf to finish the look off.
That sounds really lovely. I'd love a smart coat, but I''m stuck with one of those zip up waterproof jobbies which are ok if you go skiing I suppose, but not good when you want to impress (hey Tom?)
ETA Justamum you've made me cry!!!I wanted to get married in white river, our first holiday home was a piece of land my dad bought with a tent pitched on it just near the banks of the river, I went to school in Middelburg (about 20 minutes away) so my dad used to fetch us from hostel to spend the week end. We built a small chalet on it later, and much later donating it to our house help as a wedding gift as they lived in a shack nearby and had a baby soon after-they still live there.
There's nothing particularly romantic about getting married in court though. Between criminal cases! :rotfl:The judge who married us had such a strong Afrikaans accent I couldn't make out what she said - I just said "I do" at the end. DH couldn't understand her either and he'd lived in SA all his life. He asked her to repeat the question! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mum says it's the weirdest wedding she's ever been to.
My MIL still lives in White River and DH is going over for a visit next March. There's a family who live over here who also come from White River, and a friend who isn't South African has a sister who moved over there when she was 18. She used to live at that Christian place in town (the name of which escapes me atm. I'll ask DH as I'm sure he remembers it - it's got it written in large white letters on the side). Where in WR do your family live?cha97michelle wrote: »i use a teatbrush on mine - obviously an old one, and not one i'm using on ds2's bottles. works well.
I think that's the best bet. I usually have one in the kitchen for cleaning out awkward things, but need a new one. I'll put one on my shopping list.Yeah - I'm watching HER!;)0 -
G & B hugs i hope you're food stays down, i'm still waiting to catch it:eek: .
Nope didnt stay where i put it, you really dont want to catch it. Its most unpleasant:oThat'd be a HHHHC then:rotfl: :rotfl: take it steady - aren't you wobbly? I usually am, after a bug.
Yes, i had a HHHHC:o Yes i am wobbly hence the half heartedness. I'm sipping ginger ale as it usually calms my stomach. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'm Gemini. What should I be like? Apart from the split personality of course?0

I don't suppose you could copy and paste it could you?
No... but there's definitely something up, as the rest of today's emails are... different to normal... could be entertaining
Most of the men I work with (apart from those who work for me) are apparently scared of me  ... which makes this something of a surprise. What's irritating is that I actually like the guy, enjoy working with him (and he's about the only decorative bloke in the office as well, we're a bit short on eye candy), and it turns out he's just like all the rest.
Oh yes, and I've now been single for nearly a year, so I guess it's time I did actually start noticing when people notice me ...0 -
