Yes, as posted above, we are also going tomorrow, simply to take photos as evidence to help with refund, and will post an update.
Please post any updates anyone who has been today ???????

It is really stupid for Trading Standards to recommend that you go to a site that has no planning permission or been checked by the Health and Safety Executive.
What are Trading Standards going to do if your children are electrocuted due to unsafe electrical installations or attacked by the on site wolves.
Trading Standards are as much the problem if they are giving reckless advice like that. It is really heartwarming to see the people we pay to do a job find all manner of reasons why they can't do it.
Paying to go to a an event which has no planning or H & SE certification is a 'no brainer'. You don't have to sacrifice one or more of your children to gain a refund. Excuse my anger, but it is the muddle brained idiocy ofmoronic bureaucrats that allows jokers like these to run rings around the suthorities and the general public.
I imagine the scammers took the website down knowing its existence would prove what a scam they were running. Unfortunately there are enough photographs of the dump they advertise as some Christmas fantasy experience that they are a little late, and do they expect people to pay to bathe in mud before Christmas.
Do me a favour ?0 -
I've been doing a bit of thinking and some simple mathematics. If the organisers were aiming to sell 3,000 tickets per day that would equate to about 1,000 children. And if the park were open for 6 hours that would mean Father Christmas would have to see a child every 22 seconds (non stop)?! To ease the pressure you would need a team of at least 6 Santas (plus 3 in reserve to cover breaks, lunch, etc.) Then you have the problem of a child seeing one Santa but not the others. Would this ever work?0

Ive been doing my maths as well
3000people x £25 x 5days (running to date) £375000.00 not bad for 3 B&Q sheds piece of ply and a car boot sale. Think you could supply 10 santa's for that????

I may not have spelt some words correctly earlier, but I was multi-tasking. People are intitled to there own opinions thats the point of a forum or do you just want everyone to agree with you. I have no relation or ties to anybody involved with this event, I only pointed out that my children had a good time and because it's not negative you all don't want to hear it. :mad:0 -
I have just remembered a shortish old guy in a security jacket last Saturday. He had a red and white neckerchief, very gypo looking. He was the only one dressed as "security" that I recollect and he also said that it was worth the money:money: ,not!
Was it Henry or a relative?0 -

I have read on one of the many posts on a 'mums' forum that the official website is still accessible on Firefox, though not Internet Explorer - I don't have it so can't confirm.0
