they've already forked in well over £1,000,000

    New caravans all round then?
  • Nice work GomerPyle and SarahScottieDog!

Perhaps something that should be checked out with Trading Standards, or with the Planning Department at East Dorset District Council? Shame we don't know who the bank is, as I bet they'd be on the case fast!

Wonder if this 'outfit' is registered for TAX/VAT? Do you think it's something HM Customs & Revenue would be interested in?
  • Kirasia the tickets were only 25 if you bought 4 or more.

I did include the caveat that the connection needed to be made in my previous post.

All the same it does appear to be a strange coincidence, and from what I have read about the Mears family in Brighton, I think they are well used to handling lynch mobs.

This event looks like an absolute mess and I am not all surprised that customers want their money back. However with regards to the Siberian Huskies I fully appreciate your concerns but Siberian Huskies here in the uk do not look like the American show types (fat and fluffy) as featured in films like Snow dogs etc. The Huskies at this event are typical of the british type and original siberian huskies and some have come from one of the top kennels here in the uk. Many of you will be disappointed not to see them running around, this is because their instinct is to run and hunt therefore they have to be secured at all times. Please no more calls to the RSPCA these dogs represent what a true Siberian Husky should look like and I can assure you all that these dogs are very much well loved pets.

They might well be related , but you have to be careful what you post , a lot of people are very selective readers and believe everything they read , and just because you saw it posted on another forum doesnt make it gospel.
  • Not sure if anyone has posted this, but the Lapland New Forest website is back up and running. It is a limited site and has changed drastically but it is running.

Looks like he is trying to cover his back.

He mentions Meridian TV, would be interesting to know if it is all true.

Sorry Lisa, but this is completely incorrect.. I'm from a family who has bred siberian huskies, and they aren't supposed to look like this, tails inbetween their legs and ears pinned back as I saw in a couple of pictures..? huskies tails should curl up and round towards their back, not down and underneath their bodies, there has never been a time where I've seen a happy husky with his tail down like that.

The girls are generally slimmer, with less-bushy tails, but still.. not like this.

I can understand why they're in a 'pen' but not chained up.. huskies are pack animals remember. Also, the sizes of their kennels, if thats what you can call them (my guinea pig had a bigger hutch than that), well, they're not big enough for animals of that size.

Although, looking at some of the images of the dogs, I would say that many of them aren't even huskies...
