Chameleon, I feel your comment is rather unfair and disingenuous. There is no narcissism in the posts whatsoever (narcissism - sensual gratification found in one's own body - rather difficult on an internet forum eh?)

Not sure where you found that definition, it's certainly not one I've ever heard of before! :rotfl:

Narcissism - characterised by a pervasive pattern of grandiosity and self-importance and need for admiration. Narcissists overestimate their abilities and inflate their accomplishments, often appearing boastful and pretentious.

What do you suggest we do then?

As far as I was concerned I actually thought I was helping people in contributing to this thread.

We think you may be running out of time to do a refund via your bank.
We believe the time limit on some claims to be 120 days.

(Advise Grant Thornton if you receive a refund so your bank becomes the creditor for the amount of your ticket)

Legal action? - No further update.

    **snip**
Then I suggest you purchase a dictionary or encyclopaedia.
Try OED, Chambers or Britannica. It will then be clear.

I don't know where you got *your* definition from!

Time is short to claim if the 120 day limit applies from date of attendance or intended attendance.

Lapland New Forest Ltd is formally in liquidation (and has been for some weeks now - I have been unable to check this until now).

    For details go to :
    http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/f96760f805e9d4d6d71900fb038f4e66/compdetails

and click on Insolvency Details, which confirms GT and another practitioner as joint liquidators.

No surprises, but it is now unfolding.

    If anyone cares.

    I care.

I see in this week's moneysaving email:

"New Loan Insurance (PPI) Reclaiming SCAM. Lenders deliberately reject valid claims to put people off!
It's come to light that the Financial Ombudsman formally complained to the regulator that some lenders are "deliberately trying to obstruct the Ombudsman process". They've been rejecting ALL consumers' initial requests to reclaim, even when they know if they get to the ombudsman 90%-100% of cases are adjudicated in the consumer's favour. What this means? If you're one of the millions who've been missold loan insurance, ASSUME when you write you'll be rejected, but don't bat an eye, just keep going to the Ombudsman. "

We know from this thread that Lapland NF customers have had refund claims rejected initially too. So, do persist. It could well be standard practise to reject the Lapland NF claims more than once.

Has anyone got as far as submitting their claim to the Ombudsman yet for Lapland NF?

Had a letter today outlining what happened at the meeting and showing some "facts" and figures. Astonishingly, they are saying there isn't much cash available for creditors  . Will send my evidence (6 unused tickets) and not hold my breath!
