Site fast connection - threads really s l o w....

Virgin, Cable, 25mb, London, took 8 seconds to load. 8 seconds!!! I could have read the BBC business page in that time. 8 seconds is a massive amount of time. Most people will have opened and closed and visited another site in that kind of time.

I appreciate your traffic issues, it must be a nightmare, fingers crossed you get it fixed soon.

On a workstation at an Internet Service Provider almost directly connected to the core network - capacity pretty much unlimited.

Location is London, ping response times to you are around 6/10 milliseconds.

Home:

Around the same page load response times

Be Unlimited - connected at about 3Mb

Ping responses are around 40/50 milliseconds

Hiya, the past 5 days my pages have been really slow to,I'm in the north east (whitley bay) virgin and 8mb and its taking around 30 seconds to load a page, haven't had a faster loading page since then.
