strange error I'm getting for past few hours if I try check who thanks any post I get this error message, for example,

took me 1 hour to post today, i left the page loading, done numerous things around work and still had time to go down to parking meter and fill it up before i could post. shocking if you ask me.

Just logged on tonight 11,000 + users and its going ok for me, a little bit slower, no error messages or things like that......... so far
but with the number of users online the speed is pretty good

Painfully slow for me tonight worst I've seen it to be honest:(

I've included my speedtest, dunno if its good or bad. I'm clueless with these kind of things. Anyone know if my results are good or bad?

I've had no problems whatsoever today, and only just starting to notice a very slight delay (few seconds) when going back to main forum index page this evening.

Speedtest fine, actually pretty good for this time of evening!

very decent 2meg upload, download speed is decent as well. But your ping rate is dire.[ A PING is when your computer sends out a packet of INFO/DATA to another computer and then waits to get a returned packet back.
A LOW Ping rate is much better as the INFO/DATA that you send/receive get's to/from your computer quicker.]
no hanging/lagging around. if you were playing a game online say a shoot em up, you would be dead 1st lol..

Thanks Clio for that. Would the ping be anything to do with my pc rather than my isp? I'm just wondering cos I'm using a netbook and thinking it might be because of that?

I wouldn't have thought so not just for internet surfing, Is there anything else that is using your bandwidth as that will increase your ping rate IE:. Things like downloading, streaming videos, etc, Is your ISP throttling you back as thats another reason as the more customers they have on will slow you down, so peak times maybe a lot slower if you see what i mean..
