How's everyone's Christmas toy shopping going? The big day is getting closer! lol, and to think before I had children I was fed up of Christmas! Now I get as excited as they do! :rotfl:
I've just picked up a few stocking fillers - got a Ben 10 Puzzle, a Gourmet Cupcake Maker (yum!) and a Rubik's Cube!0 -
Just a head's up - if anyone's interested in FurReal Biscuit, it's now available for just £95.19 from Woolworths with a discount code!!
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post discount codes, but all the details are on the website http://www.furrealbiscuitmylovinpup.com
Hope everyone's Xmas toy shopping is going well!0 -

DD(7) is getting a walkie dog and a Hannah Montana journal pillow, plus she has a bingo game and I will be getting another board game - probably the tooth fairy one as she has had her eye on that since playing it at her friends in the summer.
Her main present is a trip to DLP in January. :j:j:j
DD(16) is getting a laptop (when I make my mind up which one ). She isn't coming to DLP.
They also both have new pjs (xmas eve tradition) plus stocking fillers - chocolate coins, pens, comic/magazine, pants, socks, that kind of thing. Oh and dd2 has one each of the madagascar puppets from persil/comfort (and I have enough washing tablets to see us well into the new year
).
I have also ordered some £1 DVDs from the nestle/play offer :j but haven't worked out what I will do with them yet! One or two will definitely go with the pjs for xmas eve though. I'm working until midday so plan on getting home and spending the afternoon/evening chilling.

My 11 yr old ds want a new tv for his bedroom so saved up my £2's during the yr and brought him a flat screen one.
9yr old dd likes sylvanian families, high school musical and hannah montana so we have got her s/f hospital with some figures, a xfactor karaoke machine and some smaller hsm and hm items.
My 5yr old dd want everything that comes on in the adverts! She did not want 1 particular expensive item so has lots of £10 - £20 items (sylvanian families again, peppa pig classroom, noddy house, sticklebricks etc etc)
And my 7 month old princess just loves cuddles and rusks! But have brought her the Fisher price push along lion thing that converts to a sit on one as they get older. I brought it in Tescos months ago when it was only about £15 in one of their sales plus some smaller toys/Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0 -

THAT'S THE SPIRIT!havetosave wrote: »I'm amazed when people spend hundred's on small children for Christmas. They don't appreciate it and will only play with half the toys once, before opening another present.
How else are children supposed to open their presents on Christmas Day?
I thought Christmas was all about giving? Did I miss the meeting which said that presents are supposed to come with receipts?0 -
My daughter is going mad for Polly Pockets but they're so expensive. I managed to get a few things from a car boot sale and i checked ebay but think it gets far too expensive. Does anyone know anywhere that might have them fairly cheap?0

Our little boy is getting the early learning ctr wooden farm, some disney cars stuff, lots of craft bits and bobs, and just lots of boy'ish things like cars, trains, toolbench, car transporter etc etc. Also lots of new books because I'm (ahem I mean we're) fed up of reading the same ones :rotfl:
My mum has bought him a roary bike and the safety kit and my nan has bought him a nice garage for his cars. Other family is giving him money which i'll put in his savings account for him.
He is 2.5yrs old so this is probably the last year we can buy him what we want to before he makes his own lists!!0
