  • Good for you Zman,

Can't wait to have that feeling!
Good luck with your endeavours. It's worth the effort. I only hope I don't forget the feeling (good and bad) and slip into my old ways.....

Hello all! I seem to have missed loads... Wow, £12k in such a short time, I wish I had anyway of doing that. So much easier to get rid of debt when you don't have bf as well, not that I'd have it any other way atm... Just not looking forward to the long slog. Next year I should only have my student loan left though (well, from September onwards) and that'll be a big mile stone for me.

  • Welcome Zman and well done for paying off so much! Any tips for us?
Welcome back tirlittan! Is your student loan a UK one from the SLC or is it from somewhere else?
How did the dooyouing go today, CAFC?

I've had a pretty good day so far: My 3rd no spend day of Dec, racked up some more dooyoo points with a mammoth review and finally opened an Amazon seller's account and started listing after only about 4 years of procrastinating! Had I not been a member of this thread I wouldn't have got round to it so thank you all for the motivation. :T
Off to tidy up now and slip into something less PJ-ish before OH comes round.
    Hasta la vista!

  • Hi all

I have paid an extra £300 into my isa now and will pay off £600 from my loan tomorrow (will update the isa bit in a mo)

I still haven't managed to find out if I get paid this month (I think HR are bored of me showing up now) but am going to chance it. Tempting fate???

Have a lovely night out CAFCGirl and well done to all challengers.

ETA: I think my £90 from quidco is going to track now - hurrah!

    Hi Snow White.
My student loan's from Finland. I pay every four months as otherwise the transfer fees would mount up a fair bit in a year, but when I next write to them to check my exact balance, I'm gonna ask how the interest gets added up in case I'm saving nothing on transfer fees etc. Need to look more into it. Off out now to meet a friend. Have a good night. :)

    Morning everyone,

Will be gone for most of today so thought I would say hi. Just paid another £11 off my credit card, won't update it until it has gone through. Also got a bid for an item on Ebay so will have at least another £6 to put off card. Must list the rest of my stuff tomorrow as I'm sure Ebay will be starting to get quiet soon.

Hope everyone else has a great day. Weather is rotten here.

  • Hi CMD

Yes, rotten weather here too, pouring with rain although think it has stopped now.

Didn't get much sleep last night, went to bed after midnight as baby was unsettled until after 10pm, then I had Ebay stuff to do. Just after I went to bed middle daughter woke up coughing as they are all ill at the moment, went in to her and baby woke up all snotty and coughing, then fell asleep for a little while and baby woke up again about 3am and was snuffly and couldn't breathe and kept coughing, bf got up at 4.30 to get ready for work and had to bring baby down, finally got her to sleep about 5.30 and went back to bed then she was fidgety every now and then.

Haven't sold much on Ebay in the last 24 hours, my personal stuff only has 2 bids on and I have 49 things, I'm hoping to get some bids on the stuff before they end over the next few days.

    Have a good day.
