Well I feel like a big bunch of fluffy loveliness myself today, sat here in fleece PJs, hot pink fleece dressing gown and cosy pink booties :rotfl:Have got that cold that's going round and it's snowing outside  so i'll be in today doing a little online debt-busting... Onwads and upwards, as someone said last night.

 Sainsbury's rejected me for a credit card. It has just made me even more determined to pay off my credit cards in extra quick time. I don't have a bad record but have moved twice in a year so that could be it.
On the bright side (I am a glass 1/2 full person!) I was going to start overpaying on my loan so at least I didn't and can throw everything into the credit card. One part of the 0% is up in March, the other part in May. I won't have it paid off by then but will make as much effort as I can. Am so determined now.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

thats a bit sucky CMD, but like you said, just spurs you on to pay off those cards...
How much do you think might be left on the cards when the 0% runs out?
Have just found a voucher online by signing up to the chain of restaurants, and got a voucher for a free bowl of nachos, so going to take that with me and get us a little extra tonight, as its our staff xmas do, and theres only 5 of usHope they appreciate my thrifty ways

I brought 4 devices to save money on our PCs and I have saved over £5 in just over a month. Great. However I find that laptops use less power than PCs and therefore I am only using 1. They are very good and if anyone would like one of the 3 spare I have, they are still in original packaging and can have them for what I paid. With the present price of electricity anything to cut down on it is worthwhile. Feel good too as I am helping with carbon footprint, although must admit the monet=y is much more interesting lol0

Yeah, I will have quite a bit to pay. It is at £7,319 at the moment but the most I can pay per month is about £300, unless my OH gets a part-time job after Xmas, in which case I could probably throw another £200 per month. He does finish college in June though so at least we will be back to full-time wages from him from then on. Until then there is nothing more I can really do.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That's a bummer CMD, I got turned down for the Virgin card but then I don't have a job so that probably doesn't help although I did put down our household income (so including bf salary) as that was what it asked for. My bf told me the other day that he appied for it too, he had a phone call from Virgin yesterday but was at work so not sure if he will get the card.
He did get a Barclaycard (not sure how he got that) I didn't know he applied but he did transfer £3,000 from my A&L to it for me at 6.9% until paid off, I thought they wouldn't let him but they never queried it when he told them my name on the card when he had to give the details. My A&L is reverting to 21.9% in January so will try and pay off the other £3,000 I have on it ASAP, I'll be throwing every spare penny at that card as it's the highest interest.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160
