  • Pink - the bathrobe sounds the perfect thing to snuggle in to make you feel a little bit better. Just think about how lovely it will be once you have it and try and feel that now: imagine that you crank the heating up (not for too long mind, we are DFW you know) , snuggle up in your dressing gown and fluffiest slippers, grab a glass of wine (if you indulge) and some Christmas chocolates (hide some from others and sneak them home) and watch some trash on telly

Is there anything that we can help with? Has something happened or is everything just making you feel crappy?

Who do you have to buy for? Family and friends should hopefully understand if you explain your situation, have you tried speaking to them?

EDIT: would it help if I sent you some chocolate??

    Hi Denial :o

Thanks for the offer, it is much appreciated. :o Just everything has got on top of me. The 20 hours driving a week, the waiting to be paid, the first time in my life that I've had trouble paying my bills, how my crap friends have not been inviting me out at the weekends, cooped up for 10 hours every Sat and Sun practically in my old childhood bedroom, how I have a lovely flat (beige carpets, magnolia walls) but it's so far away I can't live in it. Single, everyone at my age seems to be married (a BIG thing that has fuelled all my spending I am positive).

I'm coming out of the other side now, but last night, I really thought I was going to flip out. I wonder how the hell I got to this stage in my life  Last I remember I was 21 and just finished uni and looking foward to working.

This is me cheery by the way, you should have seen me last night! :rotfl: I couldn't even come on here to read anything I was so low.

It seems that life has started again now I'm not living near my ex. Just it has started almost 3 years later and after about £30K I didn't have.

I think this is the start of the "grieving process" everything else I think was just puff! :o

Anyway I'm not being miserable because I'm feeling a bit better now, but thanks for the offer.

Looking foward to more chat about fluffy xmas things!!! :D

Or a biscuit baking gift set?
Old empty glass jar, add in all the dry ingredients needed for biscuits, hand written recipe on a small piece of card, piece of fabric tied over the lid (elastic band will do it), biscuit cutters and a biscuit tin, small wooden spoon.

I am gutted, that would have been brilliant for my little niece, she loves baking. *makes mental note for her birthday*

I am hopeless at presents but did manage to get my niece £16 of books for about £7 in WH Smiths by doing a multibuy and then using the voucher that you get if you register for their club (not clubcard)

  • I saw a lovely thing in Tesco tonight. If it is for a female and you have a budget of £6 for that person, there is a set of 4 xmas plates in a box with a red bow.

They really are lovely and I included that in my food shop (of money I don't have!)
