I need some nice moneysaving chat.:j I've been rock bottom the past couple of days. I got so bad I ended up stationary on the slip road to the motorway literally tearing my hair out almost.
My aunt has ordered me a fluffy bath robe thing (pink with white dots):o, I will get everyone something little. I've only got 3 people to buy for now, so will probably spend about £15 - £20 each, but even that is a lot.
Need a few of these :rotfl::rotfl:

Pink - the bathrobe sounds the perfect thing to snuggle in to make you feel a little bit better. Just think about how lovely it will be once you have it and try and feel that now: imagine that you crank the heating up (not for too long mind, we are DFW you know) , snuggle up in your dressing gown and fluffiest slippers, grab a glass of wine (if you indulge) and some Christmas chocolates (hide some from others and sneak them home) and watch some trash on telly
Is there anything that we can help with? Has something happened or is everything just making you feel crappy?
Who do you have to buy for? Family and friends should hopefully understand if you explain your situation, have you tried speaking to them?
EDIT: would it help if I sent you some chocolate??£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hi Toomuchdebt
I know what you mean about being £2 short of your bill. I have an Abbey cc payment of £122 (they seem to have doubled it now!) to be paid for Saturday - I have £222 in my account but have petrol to buy and £25 car insurance. My dad is going to lend me another £100 on Monday (that will pay my Lloyds cc 100). How sad at my age!
I can't wait to get paid! :j Everything seems to be running out! :rolleyes:0 -

Hi Pinky, sorry things are tough at the moment.
I'm always around in the evenings too, spend all my time here while bf is watching the TV (I did watch Home and Away and Eastenders) that is all I watch really. I don't have Diet Coke but could kill for a Pepsi Max right now, shame it's so cold outside otherwise I'd walk to the shop at the end of the road - I'll have to settle for flatish Fanta and Dairy Milk.
Who was it that loves Greggs? I went in today when I went to the bank and my God how the Iced Ring Donuts have shrunk since the last time I bought one (before gall stones) when I got it out the paper it was half the size they used to be, I do love their sandwiches though but only got a crusty roll as it was only 84p compared to £1.64 for a sandwich.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -
ok 3 people Twinky has left to buy for.... not sure if they are male or female but what ultra money saving gift ideas can we come up with...
How about......
Hot chocolate mug gifts. Buy cheap mug (try wilko), mini whisk (wilko again), assorted sachets of options hot choc (any supermarket), and some mini mallows (near the caking baking stuff in supermarkets) can do that for less than £5.....
Or a biscuit baking gift set?
Old empty glass jar, add in all the dry ingredients needed for biscuits, hand written recipe on a small piece of card, piece of fabric tied over the lid (elastic band will do it), biscuit cutters and a biscuit tin, small wooden spoon.
Just realised I quite like that idea myself......Wealth is not measured by currency0
