I love Ebay and have sold various bits on there for years. I tend to go through phases though.

Have loads more to get on though so will do a bit before Xmas and then will probably wait till the New Year as it will go quiet for a bit over Xmas.

Only problem with Ebay in January particularly in the clothes section is they are flooded with stuff from the sales. Some people must buy the whole of the Next kids section and then put them on Ebay at full price

Well done CDM!I'm up to £6.50 on my ebay item, and now there's 3 watchers on it as well. Other item has 11 watchers, but I don't anyone will bid before closer to closing time. There's a reserve on the item anyway, hoping it will be met as don't want to sell them any cheaper.First NSD yesterday as well. :)

I've been playing with snowball calculator this morning. With current amount I pay, my DFD is April 2013. Over 4 years!!! I'd have to pay double to get rid of the debts in 2 years, which would take me to December 2010. It's a tall order, but this is what I want to aim for.

I had a play with mine as well. It now says Nov 2012. It did say May 2014 in August but I really want it to be April 2010 so have a lot more overpayments to make.

  • It's great. everyone is so motivated and doing so well. The good thing about it is although it is the Paper Hat challenge I don't feel that people are being over competitive. Everyone is genuinely happy if you make your own personal targets. It's great.
Completely agree. It's just really nice to know that whatever we're trying to pay off/save we're not alone. I find that seeing other people's totals doesn't necessarily want me to beat them, but it does spur me on to try and match them.

Well done to everyone back on the wagon :T.

HI- I'm away for a few days now - so if you don't mind. I would like to add 2 payments for tomorrow of £25 and £40 just my regular payments.... Not planning to pay any more off then for a bit altho since I am being paid early in December, I could stooze early too... I'm worried if I leave it in my bank account that it will be too tempting.... Trying to weigh up whether to also make an early payment to a CC then too especially as that would give me a better end of year figure...;) I then wouldn't make any other progress until end of Jan tho... hmmm:p
