Awwww Tirl' hun thats pretty rubbish! Cant believe they just said well we paid loads, we might have missed you. Thats not really on! Not a lot of advice I can give I'm afraid, but you will get there xx
Hey Snowy.... I thought that too but I've had quite a few days off from it so I need to get back in the swing, as soona s Ive done some, thats it, I'm away and pumping them out as I do enjoy them but once I slow down, its hard to get motivated again.
Been out this morning and bought DH new work shoes, and a pair of gloves, we were aiming for as cheap as possible, but cheap mens shoes are hard to come by, so spent £41 on shoes and gloves (ARGH!) but he really did need them, his other ones have got a massive hole in the sole.
That and when into S'burys to get top up lunch stuff so spent £11 in there, and also got some xmas wrapping paper to wrap DH's presents with this afternoon when he goes out to cinema....so out of my £65 spend money I gave myself I've spent £3 on wrapping paper, and £5 on Starbucks (so bad as I actually work in the industry) but treated DH to a hot chocolate while we were looking for shoes to stop him moaning. So I'm now down to £57 left for the month...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Oh, you know the "one step forward two steps back" - feeling? That's me. Was supposed to get my back pay from last job today and it hasn't come through. When I spoke to payroll, they said, " well we have paid a lot, but it's possible we've missed one" and now I have to wait till my next pay day on 15/12 to get the money!!! NOT happy.
I was so ready to pay off more of credit cards, and more than I planned. Need to cheer myself up and pay the £15 off barclaycard, that'll keep me going.
I wonder how I know that:rolleyes:

Evening everyone how we all getting on?
Have been paid today so need to sort out tonight whats mine and what is the Exs then I will know where I stand.
Next month will be easier as his wages will go into his own account. Just need to keep hassling him to make sure he sets up a standing order for what he is giving me.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Evening.
Not paid anything off yet. We've got a date set for taking over new place now so i dont want to overpay too much because we need to buy a new fridge freezer, so our overpay will be used for that this month, so unfortunately it'll just be the regular payments for us.....
Bit sad about that..... am going to try and be really good with my spending and the food budget so hopefully will find something spare somewhere to make some overpayment somewhereWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Don't be sad hun as the new place is your new start and its cheaper so only a small gap in your overpayments this month and you are doing so well already.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

You are doing really well CAFC and Doodledoo is right, it is only a temporary stop and for a positive mood too. I think everyone probably won't be making too much headway this month with Xmas coming up but we can all only do our best.;)Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Have to agree CMD and I think if in December you make your debt go down even by just a little its a darn site more than a lot of people will be doing.
It's quite uplifting when you think we will get through Xmas without adding to our debt when there are huge numbers of people who are bashing the cards as we speak and will live to regret it in the new year.
Thank god we have all had our LBMProud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712
