  • I managed to do 1 review this morning as well and am up at 9K. I will try and leave it in until 15K and then redeem as that will pay for another Xmas present for my Mum and a birthday present for my sister.

Just realised I've gotten under £13k now! :)Then again, it's bit difficult cos of the student loan. I'm not quite sure how they add the interest and stuff and I pay every 4 months at the moment cos otherwise it would cost a fortune to transfer the money over. I'll try to find out exactly where I stand with that for the new year, then my figures will be more realistic.

  • That's great Tirlittan,

It's great to get through a barrier. My one at the moment is to go under 20k and it will take a few months, but for me it will be a big personal achievement and a turning point.

Well, it is a great feeling. But, My student loan was at the sig figure on 31.08.08, so it's obviously accumulated interest though I've also paid some off, so I don't really know exactly at how much it really stands. I probably have more debt than i think atm.

I'm hoping this month we will get under the 18k mark and that will definitely feel like an achievement for us, and then it'll be 15k and then 10k .......... Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh I dont know about anyone else, and maybe its just the payday feeling, christmas coming etc but I'm feeling really positive, even though I know we wont be overpaying much this month, I feel really on the ball with it all, and like its all starting to turn round.

Plus I think everyone is doing a really sterling effort and I'm going to love still having this thread this time in a year and seeing how far we'll all have got!

Did also want to ask if anyone had found any new-ish sites which we can earn money through, dooyoo has been a real motivator and I was looking for something similar for the new year?

  • Wow, this time next year, now that is a mad thought! I would hope that I am looking at smashing the 10k mark instead of the 20k (me being optimistic again!!!)

Yeah, I think everyone is doing really well and I also feel very optimistic today. I defo think I will pass the 1k mark in the challenge as I have some expenses to claim (small amount), have a cheque for £10 to cash, am going to sell some items on Ebay at the weekend and also have nearly reached my AQA challenge to myself for Nov so any extra will go towards the debt. I just have to find £54 which doesn't seem too bad!

I'm feeling quite positive as well. Especially after 3 weeks of de-motivation. It's good to be back. :)

  • Yay, just went off to do my expenses and they came to £43 so with the £10 cheque I need to cash I only need to make another £3 off Ebay or AQA to get through the 1k mark. Am delighted, will feel better coming towards Xmas knowing I have made that little goal. I will look forward to updating my signature when the payments come through!

Edit: no wonder I am in debt. Am useless with maths. Just need another £1 and I will make it!

    We wont say anything :rotfl:
Plus if any of us were that good with maths we wouldnt be in the situations we're in.

Hi all - please nag me all weekend to do my expenses - worth over £600:eek:  . After last month I did get them to give me a bit of an advance but it is nowhere near what they now owe me... I'm due to incurr another £300  next week! The only good thing about it is - I've put it on a cashback card so will get some marks and spencers vouchers from it at some point. I also benefit slightly thro the mileage rate...

I have now been paid but as my payday fluctuates, I will only be paying anything off / stoozing from the 1st! I did win and manage to withdraw £10 :j on bingo today which was really good - I will add it to my Dec £10 a day challenge tho as it won't be in my bank until then! Joined them thro cashback site so will get paid for that too! Can't wait for all my points to credit - then I can get a new dyson... Sad I know to be so excited about that but....
