I'd like to say yes.... but not as much as I would like.... but hey its better than a kick in the pants!
When the last direct debit payments come out and DH has sorted out paying in the monies, then I will feel better i think, as I will be able to work out what needs to stay in for next month and what I can use for some overpayments etc.
Plus also just found out that the furniture that we ordered in August is being delivered on thursday.. WOOHOO
We've had a mould issue in our new build flat which took our chest of drawers with it.... so thankfully I can get my smalls out of the Lakeland carrier bag they are currently in and sort out my wardrobe etc.... now thats cheered me up!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -

Yes, I always pay them as soon as they come through the Post, at least I have a month before I get the next one from them as they are the credit card that I have to pay the biggest minimum payment too, the others are not so bad, well A&L might be next month but I'm going to pay as much off that one as I can, so any extra pennies will come off that one.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

Morning everyone it seems like ages since I have posted on here. Things had got a little busy here and just hadn't had time to get on the board.
Some brilliant payments happening we are doing so well :T unlikely to make many more overpayments for a while as been doing some Xmas shopping and my bank account is looking a little sorry for itself.
Definately need to get listing on Ebay and get some cash coming in.
Haven't done any Dooyoo for quite a while so think I will get some reviews dome today as I'm not even at 10000 yet :eek:Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi Doodledoo and everyone else,
I know what you mean about Xmas presents etc. I will be like that next month and won't have any overpayments to make
Paid off another £10 from my credit card as I had a payout from Quidco. In the past I would have scoffed at a £10 payment, but now I realise that every penny does indeed count. My strict budget seems to be going okay this week and not one drop of alcohol has passed by lips! (well it is only the 5th so can't get too cocky yet!).
Hope everyone else is well.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning All
Am in a bit of a mood these days and I need to seriously shift it!
Hubby's car payment has cleared so thats another £147 off, and Ive updated my siggy.
Really need to get on and do some dooyoo today, can someone please shout at me to do this. Im lagging behind and never gonna reach the £50 if I dont get my backside in gear!
Our sky isnt working for some reason today so Im seeing that as the Divine's way of telling me to be more productive with my days off.
Going to count out the money pots we've got dotted around as well and see whats going on in those.Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Hi everyone! Back from my hols. Well, just went back home to Finland with my BF. Had a lovely time and was great not to worry about money, debts and payments for whole 5 days. Trip was funded by extra 2 weeks pay I got that I wasn't expecting and I’m still up with the money that’s left over. Also had my birthday yesterday, big 30…
Got my main present from BF three weeks ago when he took me to Nice with him when he had a works trip (was there for two days and he only had to work for 1 hour!). Haven’t been able to go on short trips like that ever, so was really lovely. But he really spoiled me yesterday as well. He got me a Tracy Chapman cd (who I adore) and tickets to see her in Bristol in December! And he treated me to cinema (to see Bond!) and a lovely Thai meal. Feel so lucky to have him. :)But now back to debt busting with renewed vigour!!! Some regular payments have/or are soon going out and some over payments will be made. Need to get all my receipts and statements together so can update my sig.Nice to be back.
