You know when you wake up & know its going to be a bad day - well it fulfilled my prophecy
Even though I was in last week I think its taken a while for me to realise we're in the post Christmas long, cold, miserable jan/feb. Roll on springtime.Looking for the perfect home and saving to make becoming a MFW easier

Yeah I am predicting having one of those days tomorrow. I feel like I have been off for months.
Usually about this time I would be booking our family holiday so that always perks me up as gives you something to look forward to. So I think January is going to be even suckier (not sure if word lol) than normal.Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is doing well today! I haven't been able to get on the net much over the Xmas and New Year period so I feel a bit disconnected from the whole MSE forum! Hopefully I will get back into it within the next few days.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi all and thanks for the warm welcome.
I have been spending the last couple of days trying to work out ways to find more money to throw at my debts. Its not easy...
I have just popped 2 items of furniture on gumtree so fingers crossed for that one. I think I will give it a couple of weeks on there then try ebay. I dont know which site is better.
I am waiting for a PPI reclaim which is due in the next month (or so RBS have told me).
I have sent a letter to my OHs bank requesting a list of charges incurred to start the process with them. Its stupid I know but I feel like I am being cheeky and almost ashamed for asking for our money back, even though everyone is doing it and we have a right to it. I think thats been my problem with money full stop though, I feel bad asking for whats mine. Its really hard to explain. To make it a bit clearer, a bloke at work borrowed £3 from me for lunch before christmas, but now I cant seem to ask for it back. I feel like I am being petty over £3... does anyone know what I mean???? By loosing money here and there though it really adds up.
Anyway, back to the point.... I have spoken with CCCS (who my DMP is with) and they have told me to start the reclaiming process for mine and my OH's credit card charges. We had quite a few charges incurred in the last few weeks before DMP.
Also I can save a bit of money each month from my allocated food budget by spying on the monthly shop challenge boards, that will give me loads of ideas, and any left over can go towards clearing debt.
Also I find out in the next month or so whether I get my annual bonus from work. That will also go towards the debt.
And I have been clicking for England and I have done a couple of DooYoo reviews. I will do a couple more this week too.
And so far thats about it. Any other ideas are more than welcomeOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 974 - Proud to be dealing with my debts

Hey peeps.
Ah, The Sig, I like to just look at it...especially if I've just paid something off.:D It felt awful deleting the fact that I've paid off my Barclaycard and family loan, but it was getting too long.
I've managed to list 3/4 boxes on amazon and have sold 4 books already, getting £13.80 profit.
Tonight I'm listing the last box.
Can't wait till pay day on 15th to know exactly how much I'm getting. I might of overestimated my pay and I might have to pay less towards debts that I've intended, which I'm not looking forward to as I estimated that I'd be rid off my last credit card in June and then would only have student loan left to pay. But will know for sure when I get my pay.Fingers crossed...I guess I need to find an extra job, have been thinking about mystery shopping, does anyone else do it on this thread?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
