I didn't make it a formal resolution but have been using my Amex cash back card to buy everything & keeping all of my receipts when I get to then end of the month it'll create a terrifying spending diary

Not as scary as your whip :rotfl:

  • Hello All

WELCOME BACK CAFC - I think we all need a kick up the bum - I haven't done anything wrong but I haven't done much right either... Did you reach 50kon dooyoo in the end?? or are you still working your way up?

I am really sorry to hear about your job, CAFC, fingers crossed that you manage to sort something out.

    Howdy everyone else.

I had an absolute result tonight. I was wearing the coat I have been wearing all winter and it turned out that the old bits of paper in my inside pocket that I hadn't cleared out included £15!!!! what a bonus find!!
£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

PAID I'm going to have to check all coat pockets & bottom of handbags. It'll be a dirty job but if theres some money it'll be worth it!

Gordon & Phezzy sound like a lovely duo

Hey, good to see you back CAFC.It is hard to get motivated after Christmas.Like PAID, I haven't really done anything wrong, but not much right either. It's sometimes just so hard to keep strong and just pay debts and feel like you have no other life...:( Sorry, feeling bit sorry for myself, don't know why, probably just the January blues and waiting for the last few days for pay day. It'll be alright.

I relied on my husbands bonus's to foot bills.
They stopped due to job change.
I then used credit cards to pay debts.
I know owe over 40K on 10 cards and still rising because they won't stop interest - even though I write twice a month, and send all valid paperwork.
I'm pulling my hair out - but trying to smile :o ...
