oooh diet cherry coke, you must be feeling blue....

Anywho's..... I dont think its dramatic, I think you're grieving is all. A lot has changed recently (for a lot of people) and it takes it out of you going through the fight to get through the day, and some days your emotional brain just cant fight, and it needs its own time to get used to everything thats happened.
I say have a really lazy evening, look through photos of your darling baby girl, play about with pup, give him a hug and tell him all about his new virtual friend Gordon, who is a little puggy, and just treat yourself to a big "me" hug... we dont hug ourselves enough if you ask me.
You're doing such tremendous things, which dont seem like much to you in the day to day hum drum but to others, you are an absolute inspiration, despite the hardships, valuing your happiness, and that of your family's above all else, and going through the knocks for that "happy ever after" moment, which is never as far away as you think it is...
I think you're ruddy marvellous...... xx

I could try to post something really nice but it would look crap next to CAFCGirl's lovely post

Hi Doodledoo - I think you are doing amazing, it is still early days and you are doing extremely well to be doing more than putting one foot in front of another.... I'm sure 2009 will be a better year for you. I must admit, when I have a rough year it always feels better psychologically when the 1st Jan come around, I always feel like I have a clean slate to start again...

  • Hi Doodledoo,

Sorry, haven't been on all evening. I think you are amazing for having the courage to put an end to something that wasn't working right. It took a lot of guts and you are doing so well. Your daughter is so lucky to have you as a mum. You will get to your debt-free date, and then the amount of choices for you and your daughter will be unbelievable.

Good morning all. All conversation always seems to happen in the evening on this thread, and I'm not often here...:( Anyway, £101 paid off Barclaycard, end of this week I'll probably pay it all off. Got my back pay and pension contributions back, now just need to decide how I'll use them for best. Some more will come off my Virgin card and end of this week I can pay my student loan, or transfer money to my Finnish account.

    Hiya,

You must be excited about the back pay and pension contributions coming. How much do you reckon it will add up to? You should be able to pay a fair bit off your debts!

It's not that much really as I'm on quite a low pay and I only paid to pension for two and half months. All together just £300. But I couldn't contain myself, just paid off £73.57 off Virgin CC as well. Off to update sig yet again! :) There's another £122 off back pay still sitting in my account, but I might put some of that towards holiday next year or something nice. We'll see...
