Yeah, it will be a real psychological thing for me. Can't see me hitting that figure before March but it will be the first time I will be under that figure for a few years. I feel like I am stuck at the moment & am starting to worry about the expense of Xmas now:(

As in socialising or as in presents?

For your socialising could you set a budget for each night with what you have left to play with before payday so you know exactly where you stand each night.

  • Socialising. That's a great idea. I might do a budget of what I have to spend. Things are pretty bad in Ireland (where I am going for Xmas) anyway so people might want to stay in a bit more as well. I find it so hard to say no at Xmas. I have a feeling mid-Jan to March will be quiet times for me.

  • Hi all

An extra £25 paid off for me today (routine payment)

doodledo - sorry that you didn't get AQA, nothing wrong with slow and steady though ;)

cmd - I am hanging on for sub £20k too.

I hit sub £20k on this thread before I do in reality (because of my ISA and 0% card) so I reckon that means I get to celebrate twice :T

Evening one and all. Just been to see my SIL and give her a birthday present. Little one settled in to bed so a night of lounging on the sofa ahead me thinks.

I'm starving but can't be bothered to cook :o
