Evening one and all what a deep thread we have going on here today.

I have had a really crap day today so hope for some madness on here later.

I put my overspending down to low self esteem too. I have always been overweight and I spent a lot of my money trying to make me feel better not that it did.

    Evening.

Gawd it's so pathetic I feel such a twit lol

Basically Ex changed his status on facebook to single. OK no issue with him putting single as we are now but the problem being we work at the same place and he has over 150 friends on there.

It was like a smack in the face as I had kept everything quiet at work as I am not one for attention and gossip and I don't want those sympathetic looks you get.

Anyway I freaked, called him an insensitive bar steward, blubbed and told to him to leave (he had been looking after our little girl whilst I worked).

I think he realised it was insensitive and has actually deleted his Facebook account

Opps was just posting over on your diary....

Crikey, deleted it eh? Sounds like he defo realised what he'd done.
Cant say much about the looks and the gossip mongering aside from those people who matter, and who care about you, wont be the ones to do that. You've nothing to be ashamed about, hold your head up high and feel sorry for those who have nothing better to do with their time than discuss other people's lives....
Give your darling girl a big hug from Mummy, safe in the knowledge what you've done, and continue to do will provide her with the safe warm loving environment that she deserves xx

  • No, don't feel like a twit. That is a really insensitive thing to do, you haven't broken up that long. That's one thing I hate about Facebook. A friend of mine had her pregnancy announced on it from a well meaning friend and she was raging. She wanted to tell some people in person.

However, at least he deleted his account so he must have felt really bad for doing it. I think men deal with things differently as well and they can appear colder during a breakup but it is just their way.

Hopefully the account was deleted before too many people saw it.

Yeah I don't think he probably thought about the consequences of doing it really but thats the problem.

I'm ok now it just opened a lot of wounds up that had started to heal.

  • I'm sure it did. Men are such fools sometimes. They really don't think before they do things. I'm sure he does feel bad now though. You poor thing, but is good to get it all out, you will feel a lot better.

Have you anything nice planned with your daughter this weekend? I bet one smile from her cheers you up no end :o

    Yeah she is my world.

Tomorrow we have swimming lessons in the morning which she loves and then we are off to her school to meet Father Christmas....again. Will be the third time she has seen him so far this year :rotfl:
