    Woah! Really?
I had 6 mature at the same time last year, we used it all the time and I still had to gives loads and loads away. Do you freeze it though?

Yes I guess that I do give some to the neighbours but quite often 1 or 2 of the plants don't do as well as the others but I guess 6 would still give us enough. Last year I had 8 ESB and would be waiting for the plants to grow so I could harvest again. However all the children eat it so I do need enough for say 4 adults.

The two varities are harvested at different times so I never end up harvesting enough from them all.

Never tried freezing PSB,never had enough to freeze, I'm guessing that I would be disappointed with the taste and texture when cooked.

  • Hi Maz
Thank you so much for your planting plans. :beer:You are really extremely organised - it is always good to see other people's organisation aids etc - it obviously works well for you.:j

I'm really interested in your winter plans - that's one area that I really must get my act together as it seems such a shame not to be using my lottie during the winter months.

Thank you so much for sharing :T - you are an :A!!

Sorry if you have covered this before but if I am starting from scratch today what seeds can I plant for veg over the winter. The plan is great - I think I am confused of what goes in when and how long it all takes to mature and be ready to harvest. I haven't got my head around that part. Sorry to be a pain!
    Thanks Melissa
