Thank you for the plan. I haven't had chance to look at it yet. I'm trying to leave it until tomorrow or I'll be too excited to sleep.
  • :T Many thanks for the plan. Haven't had much time to look at it but I'm sure it'll help.
Only had current plot for 2 years and finding weather conditions very different from 15 years ago when we grew more than we could use. Hoping to have small greenhouse/polytunnel next year so that we can get started earlier when it's bright & warm in day but cold at night here in Scotland.
  • Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I was unsure where to post this, has anyone else had a second flush of rhubarb? Ours really did die down at the end of june/ealry july but we now have a lovely second harvest which will hopefully go on for the next couple of weeks if we keep pulling. Had some in crumble tonight, tasted normal. Should we be eating it? will it affect next years harvest?
Our rhubarb has had second flush for 2 years we've had it. We use it and believe it's best to do so to encourage more growth. Don't know what variety it is as it was rescued from community woodland where it had been dumped!
