Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I was unsure where to post this, has anyone else had a second flush of rhubarb? Ours really did die down at the end of june/ealry july but we now have a lovely second harvest which will hopefully go on for the next couple of weeks if we keep pulling. Had some in crumble tonight, tasted normal. Should we be eating it? will it affect next years harvest?

I don't really know much about hubarb, well nothing actually. My plants provide me with more than enough fruit right through the season but like yours tend to produce even more stems at the start and end of the season. Not sure if this is due to the variety but my plot neighbours also always seem to be giving the stuff away as fast as it grows.
    Kind Regards
    Maz

I have sent a PM for a copy of your plan if you get chance to send it. I would be very grateful as I am also trying to grow all through the year.

Wow, what a plan! I am in Scotland so how far forward do you think I would need to bring forward the plans, a month? I am planning on starting small, I have started a thread with my intentions and am hoping to get planting soon.

    Thanks for the plans
