I have just received a copy of your plan and it is fantastic - it will certainly save me a lot of time! Keep up the good work.0

I just received a copy, many thanks, some good ideas, however I don't think my veggie plot will look as neat!0

don't worry about that, a productive plot is what it's all about. The chap next to me doesn't really seem to mind where he sticks his veg, two plots down the chap has to have everything in long neat rows. Further down the site a couple don't believe in paths and just accept a few trampled losses.
I like paths because my children then have sense of where they can run without me shouting NOoooooooo! Also in really wet and horrid weather i can still tend to most of my crops because i don't have to walk on the soil.Kind Regards

am planning on doing this, so thanks for this idea. Do you have any other ideas like this that kids would like..
another one. those plastic colour ball pit balls are great for sticking on the top of canes to stop netting and fleece from ripping. The birds don't seem to like the either and the children like them, brightens up the place. Tennis balls also work well but not as bright.
You can pick up big bags of them for a few £'s. You could even colour code your planting areas. (just thought of that:rolleyes: )Kind Regards

Just got the plan, thanks hugely. \o/
It's a bit daunting at first but I am sure I can get into the swing soon enough.
This may have been asked but it's early so I do apologise.
Is the square in the bottom left corner which has tomatoes/squashes etc in a greenhouse?
I think if I print it all out later I can flick between it all a bit more and work out where everything begins. Thanks again \o/0 -

Yes the area edged in a purple boarder is my polytunnel.
Don't let the size of the plans put you off. Just reduce the amount you plant to fit your own needs.
Remember that there are some crops that i don't tend to grow that you might want to grow such as kale, love spinach but hate kale. Just keep them in the same groups. So kale with cabbages & broccoli. All roots together so carrots, parsnips and peas and beans.Kind Regards

Thanks mumof4, told my dh the ideas and he likes them too so a
re planning on incorporating them in some way. The raised beds for the veg have been done, although they need topsoil/ compost but will do this early spring. They were done early this year, but we just had so many other things to do that we never got round to doing anything more. The veg plot is down the side of the house with the greenhouse (inherited with house).
Our garden is just grass and bushes so we have started clearing the bushes to start with a blank canvas and are deciding what to do. Obviously want to make it a child friendly garden hence the questions..
So thanks again..0
