Okay one grande cappuccino and a large slab of sachertorte (other slices available when wanted - it is too big to fit on a standard plate!). Oh in case I forget - best of luck with the op!

Sorry Dragon! cat hair on everything is a speciality of my DD's two foul cats. They were also probably sneering at your virtual dog, Horace. One is attempting to sit on my keyboard right now.

I love the idea of a cat boot camp but on reflection these two need an old fashioned Finishing School to learn etiquette, deportment and ladylike ways.

Great to see so many folks here today, and what a fantastic array of food and drink is available:D
Please could I have a choc milkshake and a slice of cheesecake today - here's the dosh (chink of coins):rotfl:

I think it's a shame the virtual pets have to sit outside in this weather, can we bring 'em all in  ? I'm sure they will all get on and behave - virtually of course! Maybe they can have their own space through the winter months and go back outside in the spring. Being used to it already I'm happy to vacuum up the virtual hair/fur/feathers/whatever:eek:

Hope everyone is feeling good today.

I'm all for letting virtual pets in. After all, my favourite (real) pub has a notice in the bar saying "Step over the dog".:D And the cats have already made themselves at home, so it seems a bit speciesist (is that a real word?) not to allow dogs.

While I think to let you all know, I won't be around tomorrow or the weekend. I'm never online at weekends, but tomorrow is Samhain (hallowe'en) so we will be doing lots of cleansing rituals, and then attending the celebration at the aforementioned pub. Thought I'd let you know, as I didn't want anyone wondering where I'd gone.:p
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I will also be in the pub tomorrow evening - last year I had people hammering on the door yelling "we know you are in there miserable bar stewards, open the door", being disabled I was somewhat scared! So I am taking my stitching to the pub this year (because as happened last year Dr Dragon is rehearsing and therefore will not be around to see the "demanding goods with menaces" people off!)

Well my virtual dog is curled up in his basket fast asleep - his feet keep twitching so I think he is dreaming about chasing cats.

I can't do my filing because the new 'old' freecycled files are too big for my domestic filing cabinet so now I am on the hunt for an office sized one that is either free or very cheap (may well have found a very cheap one, I have found a company run by disabled people who sell on used office furniture) - a 4 drawer filing cabinet costs £40 plus delivery.

I am freezing cold, I only remembered an hour ago to take some sausages out of the freezer (I hope they will cook in the remoska from frozen:eek: ).

I need to snuggle next to the fire with a large mug of hot chocolate and a slice of that yummy looking victoria sandwich with lashings of jam....slides money across the counter.

Dragon - can you get a stair lift put in so that you can ride up and down stairs? Maybe its a good job you could laze about in bed all day, the poor Virgin man might have fainted at the sight of your voluptuous body:D

Um no! We are in a Victorian Cottage (situated nice and close to the village post office, shop, hairdressers and pub!) and

    a) it has the first half going round a corner and
    b) the lift would fill the whole stair area :rotfl:

Dragon - you can get stairlifts that you stand up on and so are narrower - is this type possible for you? And ones that go round a corner are available:j
