Wowza! Not a good day, here's the large glass and the bottle of White Zinfandel (blush wine), lightly chilled and in a wine cooler. Do you want the Danish warming slightly and we have cinnamon and apple - is that okay or do you want a different variety?

Now do you have a good book or do you just want some soothing music on the sound system?

    Sleep well Rosieben. :)

Magenta - sorry I haven't replied to your message yet, I lost your post and have just gone back through the pages to find it. (makes a change from losing the plot I guess .. ) Nice to meet you too :D . I've found that with the stigmas still attached to CFS/ME/Fibro, people can be derisive enough towards that, and as some of the problems I get with the arthritis overlap it, (classic example is joint pain and with this cold weather ... oh boy..pass me the WD40 please!!) some people can be very unpleasant and think I'm a lazy hypochondriac ........ and ignorant too because I don't listen to it .... being deaf has it's moments ;) .

I saw the OT for the CFS today and given my rather stiff state today, I think she's accepted that the programme we are trying to work out has to take the arthritis into consideration at last. Can I have a magnificent hot chocolate with a slug of the finest cognac and whipped cream topping to celebrate please?

Before I forget, I've made far too many christmas cakes (used the same recipe as last year, yet making much bigger cakes ... ) so I'll bring them in closer to the date. They will be fed weekly so please bear in mind that you won't be able to eat them and drive.

Sharon59 - Lummy ducks .... that is so awful and I'm so sorry for everyone concerned. (((((( hugs for you ))))))))
  • Yawns as he stretches and wakes up, kicking 10 cats onto the floor - morning all........huh, no one here - you left me to sleep.....

Ah well, I'll get the kettle on, the porridge started and a roaring fire lit...... Now where did we put the refridgerator ......
  • Well, one pot of porridge ruined, so I'll leave that for the pigs .....

Done a mound of washing up, so will sit quietly waiting for the lunchtime rush .....

Horace comes whirling in with a carrier bag or two:D

    Hi folks

How is everyone today ay ay ay...blimey there's no one here and the cafe has developed an echo.

Horace puts her bags down and sets to work making some hot chocolate, perking the coffee and putting on a large vat of magic soup on (its whatever flavour you fancy).

Tries to find a chair that hasnt got cat hairs on it.

Well I tried to have an NSD today to reach my target for the month of 12 but I am afraid that I failed miserably because I did do some spending today not a lot but some:rolleyes: I had to go to the village to go to the bank and then I wandered into my usual charity shop - I only intended to mooch but I found myself spending a whopping £3 on two items:D I bought a silly present for my chap which is a tiny glass ship in a glass bottle and for my mate Sal an indian leather handbag (she loves all things indian) - the bag will at least fit into a jiffy bag so that I can post it to the wilds of Wisbech:D That's two christmas presents off my list.

Sorry Alto I didnt see you in the corner.
  • Ouch - that was a cat you kicked into my corner - I'll have a black coffee if you're making anything - must remember to leave here sometime today ......

You've started christmas shopping already --- bit early ....

Gosh it is quiet in here today - I'll get some soup and a roll and sit here in the window and watch the world go by:T

Ooohh - are those doughnuts over there.......................(sound of coins followed by contented munching):o

Sorry about the cat hairs on the chair, I'll get the vac out a bit later and have another go at them - the chairs not the cats:rotfl:

I'va also brought in some CD's for the sound system - help yourself, there's bound to be something you like in there.

Sorry I have been out and about this morning (oooh is that a steaming mug of tea I see?), been to the doctors and (drum roll) I have lost weight!! in fact I am now down 3 stone from my heaviest and 19 pounds since April. On top of this the doctor has reduced my pain medication!!

So with that in mind I will take over in the kitchen (and I brought in some Halloween ginger bread bats and Jack o'lanterns to eat with drinks of choice :rotfl:)
