    How is everyone today?

I have a horrible blister on my hand from relying on the sticks too much yesterday :( I'm tempted to 'pop' it :D but that probably wont help :o

Not bad thanks pipkin...shoulder is still eek but the back has been holding up fairly well the last couple of days (touches wood several times).

I actually went out last night! A once a year dinner related to the sport I am interested in...it always feels so nice to actually get out and be an adult for once.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Hi everyone,
Struggling but managed to do a passable roast diiner. In a lot of pain - so tired of it.
If I didn't have the kids I would probably just curl up in a corner . . .
    One life.
  • Well done Jennihen!! Curling up in the corner is fine, provided you have a good book and a large mug of tea!!

Eldest DD had English Lit homework. Fortunately it was on Romeo & Juliet which I did at 'O' level.

My brother and I, being somewhat strange, used to play a game called "Alcoholic Shakespere". The idea was that you had to take lines from The Bard's plays and change key words to give it a drinking reference. Here's a few examples:

    R&J
Soft! What light from yonder window breaks? 'Tis the pub and Juliet the barmaid

    Hemlet
To drink or not to drink; that is the question. Whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of an outrageous hangover

    Julius Ceasar
Is this a lager I see before me?

Errr... Jennihen.... You may want to find a different corner. I'm going to sit here with my pointy hat with the letter "D" on it for a while......

jennihen, I hope you are feeling better soon. I have sent my kids to bed early tonight because I am shattered.;)

Oscar The Grouch That game sounds great but only after large amounts of alcohol:D

Not had a bad today (well apart from being dragged round B&Q) am really tired now.

Haha - you brought a smile to this ravaged face. DD1 doing Romeo and Juliet as well.
Isn't 'Is this a lager I see before me? 'from the Scottish play?
    One life.
  • I thought "is this a lager I see before me" is just before "et tu brute", or in the game "Now I bought 6 beers and enough crisps for every one, but I'm sure you et two Brute".

I think we all like sitting in a corner at times jennihen.

Like you, all I've managed is the dinner today :)

I was reading what everyone was baking on the OS board, and it made me feel sad, because I haven't the enrgy to do all that today, but I will get my turn in the kitchen soon enough :)

    Hope you feel better soon.
