Hugs to all who are suffering - specially from the dreaded migraines on top of owt else.

We had an ickle sprinkle of snow here - not enough to make a snowman, but enough for me to do a couple of wiggles in the car on the was to shops and a very elegant slide past my turning on the way home. Turns out Council don't grit the village as it's B roads *sigh*. Suspect it will be bad tomorrow as early afternoon the snow was freezing again.

Little Lita is not impressed although she does like to chatter at the birds I've thrown down bread and stuff for. She's too fat to get through the cat flap at speed so can't catch them.

Had a looooooooong chat on the phoe to s/e (2 hours) and she is facing filling in the new IB form. Toi say she had a rant is understatemen, poor soul.

I had a cold shower last night before bed and went to bed with wet hair, all the heating off, all windows open and just a sheet for covering and finally got some sleep. Hope tonight is the same.

evening all, made it home properly today, despite the snow in london, having decided their was little point in trying to sit it out for another day. its rather deep outside my house though, glad ive come back before it turns to ice.

cant believe i left snow ont he ground to go to the sun only to come home and have it snowing again as i left the airport and settling a few days later. shame it wasnt sunday when airports were closed as i might have had a couple days extra int he sun then.

hope ypu all had a nice xmas and new year, and are not finding the snow too disruptive.
i had gerbils twice....the first pair got whitneyed when i forgot to put their cage on the floor when i went to work one night, 2nd pair (salt and pepper) lasted 18mths but i forgot to move their cage away form the window and went to a work xmas party to come home to one dead (first frost/cold of that winter) and one that i warmed up and he survived for a few months more. they used to tease whitney by climbing up the side of their cage and talking to her on;ly tpo jump down when she got too near. they also used to talk to me when they needed food or water. i was a bad gerbil mummy.

Fell off the Flylady wagon this week, but since I've been using their system I am able to forgive myself for mess. It really works for me as I'm able to say that OK I haven't done this today but I can try again tomorrow :j

cwta i tried flylady for a while....i didnt stick with it though and then started ignoring it because i hadnt done the day before stuff lol. there is/was a thread for it on old style, which i found better and less annoying than the flylady emails..been meaning to go back to it for ages.

ps meant to say before welcome to all the newbies.

anyone heard anything from or about sharon? (last post i saw was before xmas when she had been to the fair. anything since?)

ill probably go back to mostly lurking here again, dont know what is going on with me atm but its safe to say i have been catching up on sleep with doing little leaving me exhausted (and achey) for no reason.

chloe was very pleased we came home to her on sunday night, to the point of trying to suffocate me while i slept the first couple nights. she was less pleased at being bribed and dragged out form under a bed and put in cat box and in car today, but when i was through tunnel and let her loose she was very good and slept on the passenger seat with her face in the middle to get the warm air, and she is very very pleased to be home home. she made us laugh this mornign because she got all jealous when i stroked sisters boy cat, think she will ahve to stay an only cat.

Awww bless Chloe. Glad yu got home safe pcl Have been thinking about sharon the last coupla weeks. I think she's been signed in a couple of times, but not posted.

It's the Flylady Thread here I've joined as I didn't like the daily emails from the site when I joined there ages ago.
Sometimes when I sleep a lot, I get super achey as I've been lying down for a while albeit in different positions.

Hope you are feeling better and more positive.
