Morning everyone
Have woken up feeling very stiff, but managed to wash up! Realized that I only own five t shirts since the move last week, which is a bit curious. Will have to get some more when I can afford them...I don't own a single jumper, either!
Has anyone got any suggestions for crafty things that are worth the money then? I'd love to keep busy.
My back hurts so much....I had hoped my uni work would have arrived today, as they posted it a while ago, but it hasn't
How's everyone else? Hope you all slept well xSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
I've just realised, half my last post disappeared into Cyberspace when my broadband link dropped.
So, Hi to Kaj, Limelight and Bevan.
I wasn't trying to be rude; I just didn't check that everything had been retrieved when the broadband deigned to work again.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Today has become an even bigger nightmare. Had a 'rent request' letter posted, even though several times I've spoken to people from Unite!
I'm feeling terrible today but have to phone up anyway. There isn't any way I can pay until Student Finance do...have emailed the college and asked for help, and am posting letters to student finance/benefits/banks later, so hopefully that will help.
I was already in so much pain but now I'm so stressed I can't stop crying.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Saucy calm down and take a deep breath.
I don't know enough about university and finance to offer practical help; what I would say is to keep a record of everything that is said - maybe use email in preference to the phone, so that you have it all on your computer.
Please don't cry *hands over virtual box of tissues*. It sounds as though you're being as proactive as you can.
Get yourself a cup of tea/beverage of choice - I'm hoping that someone with knowledge of these things will be along in a bit with more practical help for you.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Spent 46 minutes on hold to them, in caller position one, and nobody answered. I'm trying to compose myself, but I can't get the money before Student Finance pay it to me...I've never had a rent recovery letter before and it sounds so scary. There's posters everywhere saying to give them a call if you'll have trouble paying, but they don't answer!!
I'm so stressed and upset by this, I feel sick. I didn't need the trouble...I'm going to leave it for fifteen minutes now, and make lemon chicken for boyfriend. He's been out since 11am, and he's got an hour off between 4 and 5pm, then he's back until 7:30pm. His phone isn't working, either, so I can't even text him...not that I want to worry him with this. He does too much for me already.
Thanks LW - It's nice having someone to talk tooSignature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -
Just wanted to make sure I haven't stopped anyone posting in here....I'm okay now
Haven't sorted anything, but have emailed and phoned everyone possible, so at least they can't say I didn't try to contact them.

If you've done all the emailing/phoning you can to get it all sorted, then there's no more you can do for now.
A word to the wise, I'd keep a note of what date/time I tried to phone, if it was me.;) Also, if/when you do speak to someone, take a note of their name.
Good luck with your internet shop. I have to brave the perils of Tesco tomorrow, right after Mr LW gets out of the barber's. Fun.....NOT!:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
