Thankyou all I also got a letter through this morning with a referral to the Neuromuscular Physio team.... Anyone had any experience of this? One of my ME friends had a biopsy done via this route, for mitochondrial disfunction, and I'm hoping for one too... The appt seems to be with the consultant though, rather than the DR I was hoping to see which is a shame, really hoping they'll have SOME UNDERSTANDING!!! of the ME! Though can't get hopes up really

Jaz, well done on fab weight loss! Amazing achievement It's so hard when you can't exercise, my weight has started to creep up recently and even though it's only a small amount it's not so great for self esteem, but food is one of the only things I can enjoy properly!! So refuse to cut out choc/crisps etc

visit to larder comes up with treacle tarts..coconut tarts..tuc bicceys...butter..cheese to go with tuc's..and hot drinks,,

tomatoes plants in garden still have tomatoes on them ready to pick and new flowers forming !weird

just going to get washing in as feel damp coming.

Sam's friend - that's not fair. One person replied to you like that, people before had sent their support including me. Everyone wishes Sam all the best, and obviously I very much hope she does recover.

No idea I'm afraid. I have heard of mitrochrial finction tests but only on the internet, iyswim. Hope you get some answers... one of us has to!;):rolleyes:

I would like to apologise for reacting so badly earlier. Sam is my best mate and she has been through hell for the last few months and I got a bit overprotective. I saw that post and the fact that people had thanked them for it and saw red. I have read back and realise the majority of people on here do seem to care so sorry. It just never occurred to me that someone would think it was anything but true, what reason is there to lie?
Some of you have sent nice PM's or left messages here so thank you to those that care. I am happy to keep you updated but if people would prefer me not to post here then I can give my email address to those who want to know.
I don't really know what to do now so will leave it to the majority.

sorry to hear that Sam is so unwell.Hi to everyone.have given myself a shake today and done a few things.Made 5 jars of red tomato chutney wanted to use all the baby red tomatoes up rather them go rotten and wasted.Also DD2 took me out shopping and l got some bits for hubbys birthday and friends so lm happy now l have done it.
Now shattered and DH is making me a cup of tea bless him.
