I just wait a couple of days and if it hasn't been posted I complain via email and it gets dispatched that day and I get a voucher. This has happened 4 times now :)
  • I keep getting that my parcel will not be with me until after christmas (just hope they are wrong) it is saying this on most items I have put in my basket, as it needs to be ordered in. I have folloed the directions by op, hopefully it will get here before christmas.

I've just tried this and five minutes after doing so my order status changed to 'Dispatching Soon - this part of your order cannot be cancelled or changed.' I placed the order this afternoon using the Supersaver Delivery option, so here's hoping my items will be with me sooner than expected!

    How odd!
My estimated delivery date has now changed from AFTER Christmas to and estimate of between 20th-22nd December!

I have placed an order for over £15, and then subsequentyly realised that one of the items I orders would not be released for another 3 weeks so went in and deleted that line from my order, which took it to under the free delivery threshold but when I received my order I checked my account and they had not charged me for delivery.

So could be a trick to try if you want to purchase something under £15 but don't want to pay delivery. Just add an extra item and take it off after you have paid.
Not buying clothes for a year - it's liberating!

I ordered on the 12th and tried changing the delivery methods as per the instructions in the original posting and the same thing happened to me too. My original delivery date was estimated 19th-21st December but was put back to between 22nd and 28th December but also says I will receive it after Christmas. The status then changed to dispatching soon so I couldn't go back and change it to first class to make sure I got it in time.

Interestingly enough the website also says there are still five days to go till the last orders with supersaver delivery in time for Christmas so I tried e-mailing them to put my mind at rest that I would have my order in time for Christmas.

I checked my account earlier this morning and it now says my order has been dispatched.

I have also just had a reply to my e-mail saying the order was held up in the dispatch area and will be sent today and to compensate they included a £3 promotional certificate.

I wasn't complaining about the service - I was only looking for reassurance so I am not sure whether the OP's instructions worked or if it was because of my e-mail but looks like my order is going to be here soon and I got a free £3 into the bargain.

I ordered a monitor on Saturday. Their estimated despatch date was Friday 16th...so a whole week before they even despatch it. Despite the fact it's in stock!
I've just tried this method, and my despatch date has now gone back to 17th, with estimated delivery now after Christmas! I hope that's wrong. I will keep an eye on it to see if it changes. Just hope i don't endup worse off

    Here's hoping............yikes!
