Fast Supersaver Delivery on amazon.co.uk (BUG)

Ok well I've been using this bug for a while, first I wasn't sure if it was just a fluk, but over time after ordering stuff from amazon and using this method, I realised I was getting my items much faster, the invoices say something interesting on them, and since its christmas I wanted to share my knowledge with you all. :xmassign:
Steps:
1. Make sure your basket qualifies for Super Saver (Most items, total over £19).
2. Complete checkout process, making sure delivery is on Super Saver and bundle items into as few deliveries as possible.
3. Goto "Your Account", and select "Open and recently dispatched orders", and select "View Order".
4. Select delivery option on the left, and then select first class and dispatch items as soon as ready (the most expensive delivery), and press apply.
5. Your p+p will go up quite a bit, now select the delivery option again, and change it back to super saver and group items together, you p+p should go back to £0.00.
Now nothing obvious has changed, but every time i do this my order gets sent out quicker (guessing first class) and split if it has too, I will show 2 screenshots.

Note: Outlined the important bits in red
I would like feedback on this because I cannot gurantee it works, it has just worked on my account the times I tried.
Hope this gets you your christmas presents before christmas :xmassmile
UPDATE: As you can see on screenshot 1, my items were dispatched on the Tuesday 6th, and I recieved my delivery the next day Wednesday 7th. So that must be first class to get here next day after dispatch.

But the delivery estimate on the second one is even later?0

Yes but super saver would have waited until the second delivery was ready for dispatch therefore sending all your items at that later date.
This has dispatched my items as soon as they're ready without having to wait for other items which aren't.0 -
A funny example is your add an xbox 360 to your basket with your other items and put it on super delivery.
Your items will only dispatch when all items are available (including that xbox 360), so you could be waiting for all your other items until Feburary (when the xbox 360 is finally available for dispatch).0 -
I've given this a shot as I'm currently waiting on an order with 23 seperate items in it which isn't due to come until well after christmas due to a couple being on back order.
To have first class shipping it's an extra £42! I'll be really interested to see if this works. Thanks.0 -
Please tell us if it works, thats a big order.0

Can you not split this into more than one order so that the back orders are together on their own. Everything else could then be delivered.
I ordered something from Amazon on free delivery on Thursday evening last week. It was delivered on Tuesday morning, having been despatched the very next day.
I find the free delivery rarely takes longer than this so there is no need to mess about switching the delivery details.0 -

I'm not sure if your understanding the BUG. MR_Gordon should be able to get that £42 worth of postage for free.0 -

Yes I understand the bug but it seems to me that even the free delivery is coming so quickly it seems pointless messing about for the sake of possibly only a day.
The lost costs of delivery will simply push up Amazon prices so ultimately we all lose out anyway.0 -

Then why did you say this.
Supersaver delivery won't qualify if you split it up, so in the end he would have to pay for it.Bossyboots wrote:Yes I understand the bug but it seems to me that even the free delivery is coming so quickly it seems pointless messing about for the sake of possibly only a day.
It takes 1 minute to change the options, and then change them back to get supersaver delivery. But with the bug they will still deliver everything first class and seperate, so he doesn't have to wait for them later items.0
