You'd be surprised at how many folk are reluctant to follow the instructions on the back of a pack unless it's the "ding" instructions for reheating in the microwave..... :eek:0

(followed by a trip to the toilet?). My veg box had been delivered that day and I had already been to the butchers so I only popped in for some toilet paper but was distracted by the tempting offers on unhealthy beer, crisps and ice-cream.
A couple of years ago I went into Somerfield and paid for 24 cans of lager with luncheon vouchers (from a well known survey site).
The young girl on the checkout said "oh, do we take these?" I said "Yes, it says so on the back page of the book"
She then read the book and said "It says here the vouchers can only be exchanged for a bona fide lunch"
I put on my sternest face/voice and replied "24 cans of lager is my lunch!"
She just said "Oh, OK, right then" and accepted the vouchers as payment. And I walked out with my lager and a big smile on my face.0 -
There isn't much really. I've been very time-poor before having kids and honestly sometimes a ready made lasagne was a godsend. My mum spends tons on foods because they don't enjoy cooking at all - if you can afford it why do something you really hate? They save money through DIY - my dad does everything around the house, whereas I would never dream of getting OH to fix our boiler!Taking baby-steps :beer:0
