Well how is it going? I have been doing a lot of soul searching and job hunting so looking profitable in those directions ( whispers probably starting a decent contract on Wednesday)
I also need to be a lot more proactive on communication front with Mr.B instead of accusatory, sarcastic talk..( i wouldn't dream of talking to my worst enemy like that at times..well i would but you know what i mean:cool:)
So after digging through all our carp and getting final figures in and shock of contacting cccs, i think he may well be getting it. Based on figures, cccs said either an Iva Or low start DMP..it really shocked him and me for that matter. So he knows and i do, what has to be done to avoid that situation. Some of me says to do it and work hard to clear all balances via DMP route and the rest of me says, why should i go down that route when if we both work together and snowball correctly then i can see an end for both of us in at the longest 4 years and if we really pull the rabbit out of the hat next 2years...Contradictary mare aren't I?:p That is including his stuff as i could be personally free of debt ( other than mortgage debt this year:o)
I am thinking it is a good thing to finally have it all out in the open and apologies for rumanitive ramblings.
Oh and i did an absloutely stupid distracted thing today, i drew money off a credit card..it is the same colour as my bank card and I only realised when i pulled it out of the machine..too late to put it back now as i will be charged for money withdrawel..what on earth was i bluddy well thinking? I don't usually carry it around with me either.
On other fronts, broadband and phone went off temporarily ( the phone was out for a whole day) all fixed now after talks with nice chaps:T So has been a busy couple of days and lots of distractions and things to think about.
Hope you all have a good day. Bob xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

:mad: to accidently removing money from a credit card. I bet you've kicked yourself harder than we would kick you
But when I inserted a credit card (to change the PIN number honestly!) the machine warned me "You will be charged for transactions" which jolted me......so you really must have been distracted.
Glad you and Mr B are working things out together (or are my rosy tinted specs colouring my intepretation?)
And I think of you every time I go down my garden because the apple trees are submerged in blossomWe really must meet up in September so I can offload some apples
(that's if the bees do their work and the blossom turns into fruit.)

I did exactly the same - but the machine I was using didn't tell me I was going to be charged until too late to abandon the transaction! I have had to change the pin on the credit card in case I do it again - so keep getting every pin wrong now  -ah well!
Good luck with the dfing0 -
I know Olive, i was in town and used a machine i wouldn't normally use too..my mind has been in a bit of whirl to say the least..i am so mad at myself, will probably have a mahoosive charge for £20 and then interest. I can't even remember the prompt saying i may be charged:o:mad::mad::mad::mad:Why did i have it in my purse?????? grrrrr!Where is the big boot sign when i need it?:o:o:o
Rosy tinted specs aside, i am doing my best not to be a sarcy old moo! Not easy as he is a patronising so and so at times, then puts on the little boy lost act and then the.... i didn't do that one act...soo, we both have to face upto a lot of stuff. I am trying subtle shock tactics as the lack of marital duties doesn't seem to work..think he is used to that one:cool::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Cheers Maggie:o I think i will rip the CC up as it is one i BT onto..can't even remeber putting it in my purse as i only take my debit card and loyalty cards and library card out usually...jeez what a day.:o How to flagellate in two easy lessons over £20.
Oh and phone and t'internet went off again too..back online for a bit but will see how long.:o
Edit to say we had a letter off Mortgage company and it will reduce by £160 when we come off the fixed rate..Result!Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

BTing seems to be getting worse don't you think? MBNA are offering me 2.9% for roughly 5 months (and that's with a fee), used to be about a year at 0%. they are the only card with a balance I have left though...Mortgage OP 2025 £6200/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I was offered one with Asda at a similar BT rate and only for 6 months too..wasn't worth it for the paltry limit, i only got it of the cheapie petrol deals, but they have even stopped that now as it is 1p off a litre instead of 2p..every little no longer helps:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
