Well the claiming bit is easy and they knock it off the balance, if you stick to your guns about it. Have a thorough look at the reclaiming guide and template letters are all there to have a go at. Good luck. I am hoping never ever again to have one except for emergencies and only if i can defrost it:cool:

Just off to look up something about Barclays partner finance as he has had a nasty letter off them for something i know not what:confused::mad::Will be sharpening my letter writing skills i reckon and not just on the courgettes!:rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Today hasn't actually been so bad ISOM. The pessimist in me still asks what next, but the optomist did another SOA and realise hey, workable but *bad* at the moment.

So with extra payments to factor in we are short of £400 this month..shoite! I also reckon his credit will be trashed now, which is not a bad thing except it impacts on me ( Selfish whinge there)

So cutbacks on an ever tightened belt is necessary.
Except i spent £30 today on food and Slimming World membership as i need to get this excess poundage off and as much as i try and convince myself i can do it on my own, at the moment i need a group focus. Some of this was for guides, so i can expect £10 back. Making a total of £20 spent.

Good news is that my personal debt has reduced and so i reckon if i get a good two months worth of work in i can clear it and then on with Mr.B. That is £5600 to clear, not sure if totally doable but i am going to be at it like a dog on a bone.

On that salacious note will love you and leave you and wishing you all as ever a good day.

sounds like youre feeling good mrs bob...go girl! Those figs dont look too horrendous either - even mr bobs is doable and I imagined it far worse...hey mine is worse!! Any news on the job that you went for? Not selfish to be upset but his inability to tackle debt...anyone woud be, esp when youre working hard to get rid of it. You can only do your best though...hugs for you!

ISOM said exactly what I wanted to say.Have a good day x
  • Thanks both of you.x

Well last night was interesting. Went to a financial planning meeting for DD2 as in applying for Uni next year...boy is it scarey.

Then onto guides, which was quiet as some of them were looking around Schools, but unfortunately the two naughty ones turned up and were disruptive as usual. So energies spent sorting them out and as activities were planned to split the groups they were contained but given a warning..to be honest they should have been booted out, but it is not my call.

Mr.B went into work late this morning so a talk was in order, not that it achieved much so has put a bit of a downer on today. He has agreed though to take his car back next week and we should see an impact on the account as money will be significantly better ( i hope)

He is ( or rather i am ) going to be claiming back some more PPI and also looking at SOA on a regular basis. I think at this stage it is make or break, if he doesn't pull his finances around then i don't think there will be a choice for him. But i am looking at that as a positive thing simply because he will have to face upto stuff then regardless.

Bits of other good news is that so far today with car gone and stuff cancelled there is another £250 shaved off monthly bill. YEAHAYYY onwards and upwards.

Have a good day everyone Bob x
