interesting that noel ,on my yellow copy contract from ambasun international bulgaria it states that i have paid my solicitors fees up front of 600 euros this was on the first aggreement together with my 2000 euros deposit yet anna says she as not been paid .This amount was paid ON 11/07/07 WAY BEFORE ambasun england went into liquidation NOT AFTER; one as to ask where is this money now? anna also said she had not been paid for my solicitors fees when i bought my other property in sunny victory but then admitted she had when kevin dobson of ambasun, steped in, funny how these black holes appear when our money is concerned but not when it comes to theres? and when you question you are fed silly stories that a five year old could see through or are met by a sullen silence!

Hi All, Just joined the forum. What an eyeopener. We also have been having problems with AMBASUN/CORNELIA. Found out that cornelia are not even going to fit kitchens in the apartments. regardless of what our contract says...
They are still trying to blackmail us into paying more money to finish the apartments by threatening to REMOVE the fitted bathroom in the apartment that we have paid in full for and have deeds for and we also have photos in evidence taken last month in our apartment. We are considering taking legal advice on this, has anyone got any idea's on who to trust in Bulgaria. Thanks

I know a few names in Bulgaria not to trust.
Desi Atunosovva, Anna Pravchanska and that Nadya girl who works for Desi.
I thought cornelia was finished now?
    who did you buy through?

trust is the problem with bulgaria the only thing i can suggest is you get in touch with solicitors bulgaria who are regulated by the law society this is the solicitor i will be using for action against my developer and will give you free advice on your options available to you i have found these very helpful in my e mails to them they are on the net.Do not take on a local solicitor as they have a conflict of interest with developers and in a lot of cases are more interested in looking after the interest of developer than you .hope this helps.david.nb If you have euronews watch the peice on there on bulgaria it is on right now today at 3.49english time as i am watching it at moment at5.49 in bulgaria its a eyeopener of what you are dealing with!!!

    Hi all

I can tell you why there's a continuous hold up. We are waiting for Brendan to sign the deeds. Why on earth is he going to sign the deeds now? As soon as he does, he has to pay his share of the taxes - do you honestly believe that's going to happen now? He's had plenty of time and chances in which to sign them. The longer this goes on, the less chance we have of him ever signing.

Does Desi care? Is she really concerned if we get our deeds or not? Well in my opinion, of course not. She says we can visit our own apartments, and we can rent them out - in other words, she, Desi and Co, will be raking in the money from us, we get nothing.

    This sounds familiar doesn't it?
    Sharon DP

Sharon. Think you have hit it on the head. Who in their right mind would sign deeds and have to pay some money on taxes? What is in it for him?
If I was in his shoes I wouldn't sign either.

Does desi care. Not in the slightest. As already said , she is renting the appartments out for more than declared on the website, taking a cut and a further cut on our rents. On top of that she is earning from our maintenance, security etc etc. Why would she care

The whole plan was flawed from day one. Backing Desi was wrong. She has conned us all

when eventually people do not invest or holiday in bulgaria. Will they blame themselves NO THEY WILL NOT they have this habit of blaming everyone but themselves that is the bulgarian way of dealing with criticism about bad service and corruption.May i suggest we all take this forum a stage further and make copies of the whole of this forum and send it to our M.Ps in euro parliment and to our national newspapers as i think till we take these sort of actions to alter it i dont see anything changing unless we do something along these lines so nobody else gos through the problems we have had or these problems will continue with bad service and lack of interest in our situation; has anybody considered this course of action ?.(quote euronews) there will be no further corruption in bulgaria.WHATCH OUT FOR FLYING PIGS !!! this country is like the wild west as are most of the balkan states .

The inner sanctum are in regular contact. Are you in the in crowd

You may get your deeds if your name is on the list. I thought we were all in this together. I was right about Animal Farm. We are all equal but some of us are more equal than others. If you read this Mr Maxwell, please take note. Do not be fooled by these people. If you sign the deeds make sure you sign for all clients not just the select few
