Anyone Purchasing Property From Ambasun Bulgaria?

Dear All

myself and 2 other owners in Shatto have now received keys! I have today ordered a kitchen (fitted for less than 2000 euros, including oven, hob, fridge, extractor fan) from the people who furnished my (non-Ambasun) Sunny Beach apt.

Hope things go well for everyone else.

I've had really good communication with Anna - maybe the people in Bulgaria don't respond to those who make rude/offensive comments about them on this forum?

In 2007 my husband and I bought an apartment in Bansko. we were advised that we had to set up a company in order to make the purchase , which we did . At the end of 2007 the same company told us that they would deal with all the end of year paper work that was required by the Bulgarian Revenue Authorities , and that all this was included in the price we paid to set up the company, obviously we thought this was a great service. It was only at the end of 2008 when we asked them if they had taken care of everything again that they told us that we had to pay them 300 Euro , we were shocked , but because the deadline was so near we did nt have time to find another company so we paid them .

Anna says we have the title deeds and are awaiting BULSAT number. I must say, that following the meeting before Christmas where I spoke to Anna directly, once I decided to go ahead, all of my emails were answered, as have been those to Nadya at ambasun.bg

My furniture people have said that kitchen will be fitted before my visit to the apt in mid Feb. I'll keep people posted with progress.

The reason why the Shatto development has been quicker, is that it is not one of the main developers. The Shatto developers have not gone bust. however, the common parts of the block, on the ground floor, for example, still apparently resemble a builder's yard.

Suppose you can't have everything!

Congrats on getting your apartment. At least its a positive sign and hopefully the same will be said in March when people will get their title deeds.

So you are getting the kitchen fitted, but still do not have a legally signed off copy of the deeds?

glad to hear you have had a SENSIBLE quote for kitchen unlike some of the crazy figures on this furom !to the others i know it is convenient to keeP purchase and furnature in one place but you PAYfor the privelage with EXCESSIVE charges!SHOP AROUND ?
