hello noel thank you for your message yes my apartment is complete with furniture but not ambasuns package which like most packages supplyed are much to expensive with profits of 25%-50% furniture over her is in general very reasonable and in most cases local and you can furnish at very reasoble costs unlike the packages ! did all the people on this furom recieve their bulstat cards from anna? are you aware you have to pay rates every year, maintenance fee every year for upkeep of grounds, on this apartment 6 euro sqr metre avalon 12euro.connection fee for electricity mine was £150 and 3% property tax when purchasing but they usually dont tell you any of this do they? a warning about some contracts over here some can seize your apartment if you dont pay your maintenance written into them !my apartment was bought through ambasun in england

    Davey
    Too late with your advice
All the apartments have been seized. And thats before we have the deeds.
Our action group promise the earth but don't deliver. We had a meeting 2 weeks ago and no minutes have been issued. Keith has pushed us down that proverbial river and we have no paddle.

hi when i say seized i mean sold and they keep all the money you have paid !!!you will see a lot of claims of 10,20,or even in extreme cases 30% to be made on rentals try to get this in writing and you will realize you cant because in most cases they are untrue. There is a vast oversupply of appartments over here it is like a feeding frenzy. some of the claims for profits and rentals are incredable and should have been written by hans christian anderson yes there are reasonable profits to be made but lets keep it in the realms of some reality.by the way to those thinking of selling later the figures above also apply when selling or buying; together with capital gains tax of 18%. If you do make a profit which will be taken away again by the agent who sells it !To have any chance of a decent profit you need a number of years perhaps the pavements or lack of them and roads will also improve as they get worse every year with no attempt to improve them in sunney beach. a lot of the holidaymakers i meet have a new name for- it slummey beach, this is a shame as it could have a good future one has to ask where all the money tourists spend here goes to,corruption?certianly not on the infrastructure although we now have a decent road from airport to here so at least that is better.

  • Snooze - it is a good read though - that Davey bloke even thinks he will make money one day on his Bulgarian purchase ??????? He is talking about capial gains tax when he has paid £60k for an apartment that is selling on ebay for £27k.

If there was a prize for the biggest rip after timeshare then selling properties in Bulgaria has to be a close second to the rip of the century.

Worse one is these suckers will have remortgaged their properties, used their savings, pensions etc.

People like this will never learn and they are better off just going down the bookies or to the casino.
