  • Heard bacon shoes is putting himself forward to do the legals.
Seeing him in action to date I think he would be on a par with our friend "Anna Lostthemoneyska"

No offence jag but you are !!!!ing with thebig boys now and loats of money are at stake. This is not a legal dispute over an unpaid £20 council tax bill or a fine for a dog !!!!!!!! on a street corner.

Apologies for not attending the meeting yesterday. I had a gig on saturday night and overslept. I heard our Denis Healy did okay but the punters were disappointed how long procedings took under his stewardship as they thought they would be home for Nanny Mcphee (ITV2 7pm).

It was a pity the gypsy was not there with Mad Maxwell as I would have paid an entrance fee to see that one

I hope you like this one Peggy Sue!!!!!

Bulgaria was another country plugged as a 'property hotspot' about four or five years ago. Back then, the now disgraced solicitor Michael Lynn was still at large.
Among the properties promoted by Lynn were apartments in the All Seasons ski resort in Bansko, Bulgaria. In summer 2006, one-bed apartments in this resort sold for €55,000. The price has since dropped by over a tenth to €49,146.
Whether these apartments would actually fetch that price on the open market is another question.
Jack French, the owner of Jack French & Associates, said that price drops of properties in the Sunny Beach resort in Bulgaria have been "awful".
In Hungary, prices have dropped by an average of 23 per cent, according to Jozsef Sztranyak, president of the Federation of Hungarian Real Estate Associations.
"Most overseas property has dropped in price over the last two years," said Ann Collins, auctioneer with PropertyAuction.ie, a website set up to help distressed property owners sell off their homes.
"Anyone who bought property in Bulgaria in the last two to three years will find it very hard to sell as these properties are worthless.

Have you physically been to the development site?

I was tempted to buy a house in poland with my wife... BUT thats because shes is polish, speaks polish, guy who would plan the build is mothers partner and dad would sort the legals...

You guys... i laugh at the greed :(.. if it wasnt sad
  • Thanks Neas
    Dont talk about greed.
The only reason you married a pole was that you wanted to live over in Poland cheaply

Why do people always talk about greed when realting to out plight?.

"I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made, we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our purchase, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.
At any rate, that is what we are going to try to do. That is the resolve of us the clients-every man of them. That is the will of us and the nation.
The British Empire and clients, linked together in their cause and in their need, will defend to the death their apartment, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.
Even though large tracts of Europe and many old and famous States have fallen or may fall into the grip of the Bulgarians and all the odious apparatus of Nazi rule, we shall not flag or fail.
We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in Bulgaria,
we shall fight on the seas and oceans,
we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our apartment, whatever the cost may be,
we shall fight on the beaches,
we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight in the fields and in the streets,
    we shall fight in the hills;
we shall never surrender, and even if, which I do not for a moment believe, these apartments were taken from us, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old."

Poland while better economically than bulgaria is still in the same bag.

Its just as silly as me saying any of the following:

"You married a Bulgarian girl so you could buy a cheap house" ... well actually it might've helped you not get conned so bad but still its a silly idea

"You bought a house off-plan.. many many miles away, were fed lies and kept paying more money into a black hole'.... yep silly.

Most likely these companies werent run very well or someone nabbed the money. Presumably nobody invested money they couldnt afford to lose right?
  • Hi to all.

Just read several pages leading up to latest post and have to agree with a few on here. That is to say, irrespective of who is right and wrong when it comes down to whether the cat is dark brown, or actually black? The fact remains, you ALL must stand as one and support each other through what must be very tiring and distressing times. I myself, am a buyer of a property in Sunny Beach. I live was going to buy in Dawn Park, but at the last minute, changed my mind and purchased in Dawn View, aka Rainbow 2. This, in case you are wondering, was fully completed and on time. In fact, I have to say, that having visited the apartment in June, it has been built to an excellent standard and the operational staff are brilliant.
My point is this! If I were one of the unlucky ones, and there was every chance I could have been, i,e Dawn Park! Then, I myself would be out of pocket to the tune of 43K. Yes, it is fair to say I would have a short fuse and that my relationship with my nearest and dearest would be tested, if not broken by this mess. However, if as a collective body of people who have one thing in common, which is you have been ripped off, all you can do is come on here and moan to each other, then you WILL fail in your mission. You all need to adopt a mind-set which a few in here have given example to. That mind-set is simply the one, which our fore-father's and those before them, adopted in order to win two World Wars'. That is why you have the freedom of your country and don't live in such dire conditions, as others' around you do. It has been said on here, that at least 'I have my health'. Isn't that relevant? If you were to be told tommorrow, 'You have 6 months to live'. Would all of this not simply become irrelevant and of no importance? I know you have lost a lot of money, but try to put it into context, if only to soften the blow slightly. My personal loss in this saga, ammounts to about 6K, which is my 'guaranteed' renatal'. The same guarantee, which the developer withdrew on and was not bound to fulfil. The same, which I could not recover from Ambasun, because they promoted it as such, and at the critical point, melted into a worthless company overnight with no assets. Am I upset? Yes I am. As upset as most on here? No, and I appreciate why! Please try to put this is place in the grand scheme of things. If you are able to laugh, or cry about this in 30-40years time with the money recovered, or not? Then, I would argue that god has dealt you a hand in return, which is worth more than money and profit alone. It is called LIFE!!! Don't let this consume you, kill you and spit you out, leaving you as a cold, negative, non-believer becuase its simply not worth it. I hope and prey it all works out for you in the long run? Remember, work as a team and you have a chance. Work on your own, then expect to lose a lot more than £500 and probably fail after all your efforts. Nominate your leaders and let them lead you with the assistance of a legal team in place who know what they are doing.

  • we must all stick together, we have already contacted our European members of parliment all over England and Ireland and our local MP's. Many have contacted the Bulgarian Embassy and also Watch Dog. The internet is a wonderful thing and can reach all parts of the world so we must make sure we let as many people know around the world not to purchase anything from Brendan (ambasun) and Desi (Delagio) and especially in Bulgaria. I think the European parliment has still frozen payments to Bulgaria until they clean up their corruption, well I am sure they will not welcome the amount of interest this will receive, I have already had interest from the Mirror newspaper on this story and they were keen to speak to the Developer, so I am sure if more people contact them they will be happy to go with it
