"By the way you are buying a property in Cornelia 1 which progress very well and will keep the completion terms."

Does this mean that Pearl 1, Albatros , Dawn Park etc aren't progressing well and wont keep completion terms because that not what it said in the recent e-mail I recieved from Desi, which says that Pearl 1 is also progressing and expected to complete on time.

    Hi d1cerprice,
I think that at this stage there is only 1 thing we can be completely sure about, we are blatantly being lied to.
  • Hi to everybody involved in this situation, I have not been able to log on for a couple of days and was amazed by the amount of new people and activity.

We are hoping to make the meeting on sunday as it will be good to discuss the problems openly, compare contracts and discuss ways forward. We are buying in cornelia 1 and initially have been chased several times for money, they seem to have backed off when we made it clear we will only be paying when totally complete.

I hope some of the people who have been to bulgaria recently are able to come as it would be good to understand if the developments are actually progressing as the web site does not show much progress.
  • OK so I think my heads about to blow, and I think we are now going around in circles. I will see you all on Sunday morning (it will be good to put faces to strange names).
Maybe we should all be holding our Ambasun letterheaded communication for recognition.

The important thing for me now is that we get together and stick together....the more mass the more momentum and at least we can make as much noise about this situation as possible.

I'm probably not going to make it, staying over in Portsmouth sat night. The web pictures were taken by Vesi when we were there with her, Pearl has stopped, Cornelia spa, jacuzzi etc was only work being done, the Cornelia building on the left of the four seemed way behind the others. Not sure how the other builds are as we didn't see them.
  • When were you out there did the far left building have the wood cladding on & windows in ?

  • We have been asked to be representatives for the Cornelia. Unfortunately we are not able to attend the meeting in Bulgaria on the weekend in question, but we have already instructed an independent Solicitor (we felt that Anna was not representing us appropriately) in Sofia and we have asked him if he would be able to attend on our behalf. We'll let you know if we have been able to arrange for him to attend the meeting. We will try to come down to the meeting on Sunday. At least the fact that we have been asked to attend would seem to indicate that Delagio are sincere in their claims to be trying to resolve the situation.
  • If Delagio are trying to resolve the current situation but have not invited Ambasun to the meeting then what do they hope to achieve by discussing things between them? When I contacted them re. the Cornelia Representatives, I was told that people had rung them as soon as they had issued their email inviting people to attend this meeting - now people are saying that the Bulgarian office is ringing people inviting them! If they are really trying to resolve things then why not arrange to meet in the U.K? After all I don't expect things have really changed on the different developments particularly as its winter.
  • I believe that if ambasun uk are telling the truth then what is their problem with providing the documentation that would prove they sent the money, thus clearing their name and preventing the court action that has been instigated against them. would delagio really be so stupid to bring a court action against them if ambasun had sent the money? . . .enough said
On the other hand if ambasun were lieing why would they still be trying to help us by having meetings with 2410 etc. It seems the Bulgarians are the aggressive ones. Its easy to throw stones from a distance. Maybe more of us should go over next week to confront Desi.
The meeting itself sounds pointless. Who will the discussions be with. The representatives are there to view only. So the only people talking will be Anna, the solicitor, and Desi. It will be a short meeting and a waste of 2/3 days.

What else was said at your meeting yesterday?

That seems a good idea. Why don't we all chip in and use an independant solicitor in Bulgaria rather than Anna. The word independant being the key word. After seeing Watchdog the other night I think Anna is working for Desi. If we all chip in the cost will be cheaper per person. Maybe this can be discussed on Sunday
