RBS Maestro - £100
Cheques are used all the time, I get paid by cheque.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
It may be just me and the way I was taught never to divulge any financial details but I'm always surprised that people willingly tell what they have in their wallets
.
Oh, and I don't even have a wallet! :rotfl:0 -
By financial details they mean card numbers etc. Not whats in your wallet.
Me saying I have a Lloyds Visa, HSBC Solo, Blood Donation, Drivers Licence, Student Card etc.etc. isn't going to end up me losing money.
However telling you my bank numbers will!0 -
It does
I hate waiting for it to clear and having to find time to get it to the bank.
Thats why I hate cash as well. Nowadays I try and buy using card using everything. However 2 of my housemates always pay me cash for the bills. Its effort. Means I have to go to the bank every month so I can put the money in. :mad:0 -
HSBC £100
And I go though 3 - 4 chequebooks a year, so very important for me.
I take part in shows & competitions, and all entry fees have to be sent by cheque with the entry form. I also use cheques to send birthday/X-mas pressies to my young siblings, I use cheques to pay back money lent to me by friends ... erm ... I use a lot of cheques!0 -
£100 but I never use cheques as I internet bank and you have to pay for a stamp to pay a cheque in so I refuse to accept cheques from people!0

You can drop it off at any bank/pay-in point.
Easier for people who walk past a bank each day, like me. 24 hour access to the machines ...0
