I think it's spring that's affecting us all. It's lovely outside and so nice and easy to go out and spend money. But will get back on the wagon!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Hi all,
I am back from Ireland. Had a ball at my sisters wedding. She looked beautiful and I enjoyed my role as chief bridesmaid. The weather at the wedding was great and 60 people stayed over in the hotel the next night so we had a brill time.
I was initially going to let Max stay down at the wedding but the music was far too loud so we took him up to the room and took it in turns to mind him and his older cousin.
The second night it was so warm we all stayed out on the terrace for ages so I was able to have Max out with me all wrapped up in his blankets. He was very good for the 2 days and lots of people commented on how well behaved he is
Moneywise I am not doing great. Got back pay from child tax credits and OH got a bonus but that was swallowed up by the wedding costs. I feel we are very slow at paying off this debt and have lost motivation a bit but need to get ourselves back on track.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi CMD.
Glad you had a great time at the wedding.
Regarding debt, don't be too harsh on yourself. You've done really well and you've deserved a little breather with Max coming along and all. So don't be too dishartened that it's been going slower atm. You will get back on the horse and beat rest of the debt soon enough!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Thanks Tir!
I think it is just so hard to survive on maternity pay and OH's wages and try to buy things for the baby and pay off debt. I will be so glad when we are debt free. It seems so far away but I know we could clear it this year if we just put our heads down.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi CMD,
I'm good thanks, struggling slightly in the warmer weather tho! Can't believe I've only got just over 3 months left - I feel like I've got so much to do still!!
Don't get too down about your debt, every little bit you pay off is one step closer, so keep going. Even if you have to have a little break to prioritise buying things for Max, you've still managed to pay off over 2/3rds of your debt already!! You'll get there! x
