That would be good to get rid of a lot of it, it's nice to have some solutions to paying things off.
I just need to work out what to do with my MBNA because 23.9% is more than I want to be paying, not sure whether to apply for another credit card for a 0% deal or wait to see if one of the 4 I've just cleared comes up with any offers.Sealed Pot Challenge #0160 -

If you have good credit history it might be worthwhile applying for the credit card? It took 3 months for me to be offered a balance transfer when I cleared my balanceTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thanks SavingH!
We are just going to chill out over Easter as we went to Brighton for the night last night with the baby and treated ourselves to a hotel. He was so good on the train there and back and we also got to show him off to some friends
Oh is going to do all the night feeds tomorrow night and give me a break so I have sent him off to the spare room so he can have a decent sleep tonight.
What are you up to?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I am doing most of the night feeds but Oh will do one if I am really tired so it is nice to know the offer is there. He got 8 hours sleep in the spare room last night so went off to work as bright as a button. He will share the night feeds at the weekend with me.
Max was very good last night. He woke for a feed at 9pm, 2.30am and 7am. He is starting to stretch out the time between feeds so hopefully this is a good thing? Maybe you experienced mothers can tell me if he seems to be on the right track!
My child benefit came through yesterday and I have applied for the balance transfer into my bank account so am hoping that it will be approved. The loan figure wasn't as bad as I thought (must have misheard the figure) so am going to use the balance transfer and some baby savings and hopefully get it all paid off by the end of the year. It will be tight but then we will have £300 extra each month and can use some of it to overpay the mortgage. It also means we don't have to panic when my work contract runs out next Jan!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Oops I haven't updated in ages. I seem to have somewhat fallen off the debt wagon and have been spending money on baby clothes and also on stuff for my sisters wedding (bits and pieces for her, they really add up!!!).
All is going very well with Max. He is now sleeping for an 8/9 hour stretch at night which is brilliant. He is kicking his legs on the changing mat at the moment and has just piddled on the muslin square. Lol
We were home in Ireland for 2 weeks for my sisters hen and for the christening. They both went very well and we are back home again in a few weeks for the wedding. My brother and SIL are back home from Oz with my 1 year old nephew so can't wait to see my nephew again and also to show Max off.
In the meantime though, I plan to live within my meansTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
