You and your cronies clearly have a vested interest in keep mentioning TP at every opportunity as proved by my last post.
Maybe it`s time for Martin to insist all you TP distributors only post on the referrers board where you should have been all along.

We used to have quite a few.

The first one from Paul, did not go down well because he didn't post it on the referrers board and also didn't appear to know what he was talking about.
The second one is from yourself and posted in the right place.

I don't think that the hard sell has gone down particularly well.
In the early days we did get bombarded with this kind of stuff and sometimes on the wrong boards.

I don't have time to do a full search as I have work to do, but I'm sure there are more.

Telecom Plus new tariffs being numbercrunched.
I am currently conducting research into TPs new tariffs for gas and electricity. The telephone tariffs at a cursory glance don't impress me. However Im happy to look at the new energy tariffs. If they work out cheapest as a standalone, then as always i will wholeheartedly recommend them. Please bare with me while the numbers are done.

All touting posts to be removed.

TP users are vociferous and committed to their network marketing scheme, this is fine. Yet it is beginning to feel more like an orchestrated lobbying campaign than a discussion and this is worsened by the continued sales pitching and touting for business. This goes against what Moneysavingexpert.com chat boards are about. There is a board specifically for touting for business on this site. It is called the referrers board - it is fine to do it there.

Any one offering TP services and printing their web or phone number for it elsewhere will have their entire post removed from now on. And you will see the phrase

"Post Removed due to soliciting for business outside the referrers board"

I would also, again like to request that all TP referrers, even outside the board must have the courtesy to declare 'i am a TP distributor', so the vested interest may be taken into account. If you read the notes at the very top of every page on the chat boards you are asked to do this. There is no special exemption for TP referrers.

I would like all chat regulars who read this to take a note of where it is. If you see someone who sounds like a TP distributor but isn't declaring, please refer them to this post.

Sorry for the negative tone of this message. But I am afraid I have decided it is time to stamp down on this behavior.

I would like to make a correction.
The first link I posted was NOT started by a telecom plus distributor.
I was looking at the top of the second page and didn't realise there was a page 1.
There was however some touting on it in the wrong place.

The second link I belive was started by a distributor (in the right place).

So my original point still stands - that there ARE posts in these boards started by telecom plus distributors.

But when I suggested this to one of their reps in the Telecom + Data Protection Thread:

I have always presumed that you had another pecuniary motive when you "helped someone you didn't know save money on their bills" - otherwise, why do you always ensure that you are seen to be posting as a "TP Independent Distributor

The T+ rep suprisingly replied:

if you presume, think or believe that of me you are 100% short of the truth

Unfortunately, as is often the case with T+ staff, the Rep didnt go on to define what exactly is "the truth" - but it makes you wonder, doesn't it!

If these people want to tout and push TP and be "economical with the truth" it should be done on the referrer`s board.
It`s gone on long enough,it`s blatant touting.
They`ve been told to push TP everywhere by keep talking about it,in the pub,in the gym,to their friends on these boards,anywhere they can.(see my previous posts)
The fact is they are on "commission"and when money is involved the truth is the first casualty.
I can remember the very first post(wish I could find it)
someone declaring that if they could sign up enough people they would get "free utilities for life" how real or truthful is that.

Alared, I really think you have a bit of a cheek, you started this thread in January, surely we are entited to reply.

Lisyloo, I know I posted on the referrers board but because it is allowed I didn't include it, I appreciate your correction to your earlier post. Perhaps there are some threads started by us on the main boards but I would have thought Martin would remove them.

I have been critised for posting on this site and yet in his last post Smartasss complained that he didn't get a reply from me. I will be quite happy to confine myself to the referrers board the - the solution is obvious.

I think there is a difference between answering questions and touting for business on the main boards (which I am not suggesting you are doing).

I think it's very important that the Tplus distributors DO answer the questions so that we attempt a balanced debate.
If there is a defening silence when questions are posed then people will make assumptions (rightly or wrongly).
