Jdan9:Just submt it as is, use a blank page for any upload. My 1st ever job was a GAP phone, guy was so awful didn't get anything - cards/brochures. Submitted the job and gap contacted me with further questions - ended up writing a thesis on what happened. Put me off phone jobs for life !!0

It should detail this in the visit notes already though
Thanks Whitelabel...its my first ever shopper assignment...so not sure. The notes say 'if there is no food available, do not continue the assignment and leave the venue'.
Just wondering if I even have to go in that case, but don't want to muck up my first visit and go into negative points :rolleyes:0 -
Maybe phone the place to check if they are doing food now and if not phone RE tomorrowSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

DP:If he notes say do not continue if there is no food, you should as if you just do it as a drinks visit they will probably not reimburse you. I personally would email them and say my husband went to this location, XX days ago and there was no food, and let them confirm it with the client, saying you are just checking as this is your 1st job and don't want to mess it up.Princess - also a very good idea0

Does anyone here do work for IMS? I applied ages ago and had email to say they now had vacancies in my area and I now have to ring them for a phone interview - just wondered what they were like really, you can PM if you preferSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

Just completed my report for the RE electrical shop. Goodness, what a lot of questions!!! And now I see what people are complaining about. They wanted a comment for every single response! There was one asking the name of the staff member, so I put the name in the comments box and it showed up as an error because I hadn't used enough characters... I had to do it again as a sentence.
What a carry on. Is the report for the casino this much hassle? Hubby wants me to cancel as he doesn't really fancy it.
Today was only my second ever RE job and if the reports are this much hassle I'm not sure it's worth bothering. They pay the same fee as GR, but the GR report is quite straightforward and quick to do.0 -

Sorry chuck but I think apart from the stamps questionnaire on Gap, the most awful questionnaires you will come across are on RE!
I don't recall ever doing a job on RE that did not involve a reasonable survey.0 -
Does anyone know when MCE pay up? I did a job for them back on the 6th Feb and haven't received anything yet. Do they pay into your bank account or send a cheque? I would appreciate it if someone could please enlighten me. Many thanks.
Just out of interest: For the first time ever in my whole entire life, a fast food place that I MS'd for yesterday asked me if I wanted a receipt before I even had the chance to ask for one. Am I that obvious? :rotfl: They've probably studied me on CCTV when I did my last visit.0 -
Need advice - my mobile phone job for GAP went a bit wrong today!
I'm supposed to get a business card from the member of staff who I spoke to. I asked him for one and he said 'all I can give you is the phone number of the store, you can save it in your phone'. So now all I have is the phone number, and no business card.
Should I call GAP? Email them? Just submit the job and explain in the comments section? Reschedule and try again in a few days?
I have done quite a few of these. I always get the SA to write his/her name & shop phone number on the top of the brochure (so I can get back to the same person if there are any queries) and send them a pic of that. I just put a comment in the comments section saying that there were no business cards available so I have done this instead. I also tick the box that asks about collecting a card as 'yes' because in reality I have! I have never had any probs with this & it doesn't give the game away leaving you looking like a plank! The only phone shop that seems to have business cards are the red ones. I don't even bother asking for a card now. GAP have always accepted this without questioning it.SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
