Well they're not "proper" MS jobs, more a cross between a MS and an Audit really. They're the cars jobs from BARE - I've a feeling it's gonna be a pretty long day on the road!0
-
Perhaps you're jumping the gun UKMonkey with 11 jobs on your first day?
Take it easy to begin with I say!
Audits can be anything from walking in and looking to see if POS and stock is on the shelf to speaking with managers and asking them to range products. Occasionally manual handling is required with moving stock etc.
Like MSing, the pay varies.0 -
WOW you got the car jobs ukmonkey and you haven't done any MS before?? Gosh there must be loads of us who have lots of experince and we didnt get them.:A The toughest form of mountain climbing, is getting out of the rut! :A0

I almost wee'd myself! I finally got a job with the company that shall not be named - it's a dead simple one for a good fee for the work and it's at a store I'm going to so perfect!0

I tend to agree about emysteryshopping. I tend to do the survey if there is a reimbursment for something I fancy. Like the flowers from the department store that I ordered for Valentines. They were lovely. I'm all for a free bunch of flowers lol. The surveys themselves are a bit long winded as you have to mark each section out of 10 and explain why and what you liked or didn't like.
Thanks for the reply regarding the audits Becles. I had to query why there were quite a few gaps in the department I was checking to find out if the stock was in the stock room and nobody had brought it up or whether they were completely out. Both stores I did had the same problem as they were completely out of a few lines and had been for a while so when I e-mailed my report over I did a quite covering message to let them know. I quite like the audits (just come back from one now) as they are something different and I don't mind the staff knowing who I am. I've done this same store for 3 or 4 months now. As soon as the manager sees me he smiles and says "back again then!!". DH is off to watch the rugby tonight so I'm hoping for an early night as long as the baby sleeps X0 -
I have done one of those Black Envelopes visit yesterday. The salesperson was so exhausted by the time he approached me as I watched him demonstrating and explaining the required handset for two ladies before me. So, the poor chap did not get the award – I felt a bit sorry for him.0

Well, my first day MSing tomorrow - and I have 11 jobs!
I'm still interested in finding out more about the audits:
What is the pay like?
What companies (agencies) should I sign up with to do these?
What companies do you do tyhe auditing for?
What does it involve?
How does one get started in doing audits?
Feel free to answer by PM if you'd prefer, and I'll be really grateful for any help and advice as this seems much more lucrative than "standard" MSing!

I got the impression that they were a little desperate in the area that I opted for.
I do have it on good authority that there will be more car jobs to come in a few months time.0 -
AS pebbles has stated, posh sandwich shops on Re - yep they are nationwide - (no vegetarian options)0
