I did the dreaded phone shops today... They were actually really fun. It was great seeing the smiles of the staff member's faces when I handed them their black envelopes. If only all MSing assignments were that enjoyable...

EDIT: Just got to work on the report, and the company are looking for a receipt to be sent off? I know for one of the other MSing companies that do phone shops, you have to get a business card and send it off, but there's nothing in the briefing notes about anything like that. Or is that just a standard screen that appears after every questionnaire?
i am doing a phone shop on sunday. i am looking forward to seeing their face whn i give them the envelope.

    what was in it?

I don't actually know, lol. They didn't open them in front of me. The envelopes were sitting on my desk for over a fortnight, and I swear, the temptation was killing me!

I think someone said they contained a gift certificate?

Well, my first day MSing tomorrow - and I have 11 jobs! :):)

I'm still interested in finding out more about the audits:

    What is the pay like?
What companies (agencies) should I sign up with to do these?
What companies do you do tyhe auditing for?
    What does it involve?
How does one get started in doing audits?

Feel free to answer by PM if you'd prefer, and I'll be really grateful for any help and advice as this seems much more lucrative than "standard" MSing!
  • One of them smiled and said, "Oh you're from {client name}," but in the other shop, the girl was totally surprised. She still had one of those "I'm a trainee" bagdes on, and she just looked so happy and surprised, I thought she was going to hug me, lol.

It always gives you a good feeling when you make someone else happy :j

11 jobs on your first day??!!! OMG!!!

it took me about two hours to complete my first questionaire for RE - I can do them very quickly now though.

good luck - you may need it!

p.s if it gets too much, don't forget you can reschedule the jobs for another day.
