i am glad the reimbursement has gone up as i did three last week and was out of pocket on two of them. i complained on the report and i think some others on here emailed them to complain as well.

if they only want you to buy a certain product at least the reimbursement will cover it now. remember mystery shopping is for the companies to get feedback on how their staff/services are doing, not primarily for us to get a load of free stuff (although that is a very nice perk!!)

I to was left out of pocket on the last jobs so its nice to see RE have noticed and done something about it. I agree the mystery shopping is for us to give feedback on the service but the fee's are so bad, i usually only do jobs for the "perks"
    Well done RE:T

I've just noticed RE have increased the fee for the jobs with the national cheap pub chain to £7.50 - they've got jobs at the NEC in June (!) online right now paying the increased fee.

Did anyone get an email from TNS this afternoon saying they are going to make everyone get receipts for the pub drinks visits? I'm afraid I'll be ruling myself out of these in that case - might as well have the "I'm the Mystery Shopper" badge on, the kind of pubs I've done for them

Does it really matter (to you) if they know you're the MS? They just treat you a lot better than they otherwise would, and it makes your report-writing easier! Surely it's only TNS disadvantaged if they know you're the MS?

Maybe it's just me but I think the mystery shopper should be just that - a mystery. That's why I don't do gyp burgers. I understand why they want to do it as people are obviously lying about going in the first place but they're not going to get a true account if everyone's doing their best to please the MS.

I did a chicken burger job today and was rumbled! The girl who served me ran around the back and loudly announced that "we've got our Gap, she's over there, with the baby, she asked a question AND got a reciept!". She then came flying back out to see if I would like a highchair, foot rub, etc. Shame I had to rush off afterwards, the service was out of this world!
