    Hi all,
New to MS, and have signed up with Service Measure - Mystery Guests. Can anyone tell me if they've heard of them, and are they reliable in paying up? Hope you can help

I have done one job with these guys. The report was very easy to do and I would def do more work for them. My payment took a while but it was because they had not received my bank details. Once I resent them my details my payment was processed the following Monday and money was in bank by Thursday.

I've done a couple of jobs for them. The reports are very easy (you need excel), and not tick boxes, so you get to say exactly what you want to sy, and are not limited by the number of characters you can put in the box!

There's no fees for the jobs, but a pretty good reimbursement, which go into the bank soon after the job is completed.

They're also easy to talk to - email, text message.
  • Quick question. I've actually managed to do a petrol job on Gap! I'm trying to work out expenses, etc, for the tax. Can I claim travel to get to and from the petrol station (i.e. the 40p per mile thing), or is that an absolute cheek given I have to purchase petrol for the job?

    Any help appreciated.

The 40p covers running costs too, not just the petrol.

Also, your filling up with petrol is not connected to you using it financially - hard to explain but you're still spending your petrol resources if you drive, regardless of where you're going!

    Claim away! :D

    hiya

I just wondered if anyone could answer a couple of questions please!

I've signed up with gfk and I'm just about to accept my first assignment, but I was wondering about 2 things - firstly, should I phone up wftc people and tell them I'm going to be doing the odd mystery shop job? and secondly, do I need to register as self employed? and if so does it cost anything? and how do I do it??

Sorry if this questions been asked before, but I'm not very good at searching and I want to take the assignment before it goes.

I've done a number of jobs for them, all mystery dining. The reports are easy to complete and you get a generous allowance. The dates you can complete the assigments are also very flexible as are the number of guests you can bring along with you. Best of all they pay very quickly. I really like them. Hope that helps
