Lindz, In answer to your question, I can't comment on GR as I don't work for them, but TNS and RE are best for eating out in my experience but I expect it depends on what is available in your area. Good Luck, Hope you get some good ones. x
  • Just a quick point on the fast pizza visits, i've used the 2 for 1 voucher a couple of times and been paid no problems. This keeps the bill under £23 and we can both order a starter/desert :-)

It says in the notes than you mustn't use a voucher.
I bet if I tried it they wouldn't pay me!
Has anyone contacted TNS to see how strict this is, given that they also say your co-diner won't be reimbursed for their meal, yet they do pay up?

Re The RE pharmacy jobs.. I took 2 where I can order anything I like and be reimbursed. I refuse to do the ones where you have to purchase a pharmaceutical product as that proves nothing.

I am a qualified nurse all they need to know is what advice you are given ie they are not recommending products which have adverse interactions ie that the advice is safe. Buying useless medication proves zilch.

RE were left with dozens of these jobs undone last year as most of us refused to do them. Some in my area showed up for almost 6 months.

I studied them tonight and wondered WHY they are putting some on where you ask advice , record it but then buy what you like. Yet others are asking you to buy medicinal products you may not need.

I think they are testing the waters here to see if we are daft enough to purchase medicines again.

And can some of you Gyp shoppers advise me. I checked the assignment I did on a pizza delivery. Just noticed it says reimbursement £xxx which is £5 less than what it cost. And under the column fee it says £0.

Is this right??? I wil wait on my wise friends here to advise me but if they think I am prepared to get a crap lukewarm pizza with no fee and doe the difference I could have got a pizza from Asda at half the cost I will be emailing them to ask if they think my head buttons up the back.

Ok, I took 2 on, 1 where I can buy anything, the other a particular product.

I thought my notes were extremely clear as to why I was buying the specific product, its to test to see whether they then sell me a product that they shouldnt?

I agree that it is annoying having to buy a specific product when you could just record the advice given and then buy what you like. However the specified product is something that I have completley run out off over Xmas and could do with stocking up. I also happen to be in the same road doing another MS soI thought I would give it a go!
I didn't realise there was a Pharmacy boycot, sorry!!!
With the Pizza Delivery, I noticed that just before Xmas there was an additional purchase required with the delivery which made the meal more than the reimbursement, fortunatly there was a fee which just about covered the extra, but it's not on that they have changed the purchase without making it clear before you accept the job.
  • Its not just the advice, its testing that they carry out their jobs correctly, they may say 'you cant take these two medications together' but could possibly still sell you it.

The company rules state that under no circumstances should you sell the two products together and in that circumstance thats also what we a re testing.

    hi all (I'm new *waves*)

I've signed up with TNS, GR, BARE and RE but only had jobs through so far from RE - does anyone have any advice on who does the most food based jobs - we're big takeaway and restaurant fans!

    thanks for all the help!

You can only do one job at once with RE until you get off probationary, so yes that'll be why.

You have answered the question I was gonna ask. There are loads of stuff round here, but I could not get them. Roll on thursday.....
    Loving the sunny days!

I was going to ask this question. Has anyone used the voucher and been refused payment? I can't see anything in the job notes about use of vouchers.
With the fast pizza jobs I presume it is ok to book a table? The notes don't say otherwise! Thanks x
